Has anyone experienced their baby waking up multiple times absolutely sobbing? My LG is 5 months old. I’ve noticed she’s pulling her ear, chomping on everything and anyone 😂. Is this teething? Her cheeks are also RED. She’s also refusing naps during the day, in total she does about an hour during the day!

Does anyone else’s partner struggle with sexual resentment?
I’m almost 9 months postpartum, I had a 2nd degree tear and my scar is still thin and very sensitive. I’m exclusively breastfeeding so because of my hormones I have absolutely no desire for sex and my scar being sore sometimes just makes my desire less.
Despite this I still try to have sex with my husband once a week even though we spend no quality time together. If we skip a week or if he goes a little too long without sex he gets resentful and grumpy and makes me feel like I’m not doing enough.
He said he’s trying to understand but he has “needs”.

Feeling obligated to have sex makes me want it even less. Now I feel like I’m stuck between just do it and deal with it because I’ll eventually go back to normal and if I force myself it’s going to build resentment on my side and my desire for my husband will go away all together. What do I do? What do you guys do when this happens? I know this is common and normal after a baby

Missed a interview for a job

So I had a car accident last month and was told I have a concussion
So I tend to forget many things now
My interview was at 10 am and I say it under my calendar as 1 pm
So do I explain I have a concussion and want to reschedule this interview?

Exclusively pumping help!

I’m bottle feeding expressed milk to 17 week old baby, have done since we left the hospital. I’ve always pumped milk whilst feeding him because that’s just what has worked.

Now that he is in his grabbing stage, he’s starting to pull at my pumps whilst he is feeding. Not only is it annoying because it stops the pumping, it really hurts!

I can’t manage pumping after feeding him because he needs to be kept upright for a bit after feeds for his reflux, but also can’t pump when he naps because some of the pumps are contact naps. I also don’t like yo pump when he’s doing tummy time/in his play gym because if he cries my pumps physically stop me from being able to pick him up.

Basically I just want to know how other people are managing to keep up with pumping throughout the day whilst home alone with the baby? When are you pumping?

Please offer any suggestions because I’m at a point where I’m considering a switch to formula purely for the logistics of not pumping 😢

buying stroller

I’m unsure about which stroller to get for a newborn. I’d also like to know whether it’s worth buying a travel system that includes a car seat and bassinet.

Is it okay to just use a car seat stroller and then switch to a regular stroller when the baby is older, instead of also buying a bassinet ? Or is it better to buy a full bundle that includes the stroller, car seat, and bassinet?

Also at what age do they stop using the car seat stroller and the bassinet and go onto the normal stroller?

What would you do?

My lo is 16 months old. We are going on a short family trip to a zoo that is a 1.5 hr drive there. The rest of the family plans to be there all day, 9am-4pm then go out to dinner nearby. My LO still only nurses to sleep during the day and has rarely slept outside of the home. I want to join my family for the day but don't know if I want to deal with the potential overtired meltdowns that will be guaranteed even if lo does magically sleep in a stroller. But feel like staying for 2 hours for that much driving wouldn't be worth it. Should I risk it and hope for the best or leave early for a comfortable nap and evening for me & lo?

Baby really unsettled in the evenings

FTM looking for advice! My nearly 4 week old is really good during the day, sleeps well and only really cries when he’s hungry or dirty nappy. However we get to about 7pm and he just becomes so miserable and fights trying to fall asleep and just cries. Tonight he stayed awake from 5.30 to 9pm and only had probably 20 mins of sleep during this time because he just kept fighting it. Every time he drifted off to sleep he was awake crying within a few minutes.
I brought him up to bed at 9pm and he’s basically fallen asleep straight away on my chest….. but what am I doing wrong?? Do I need to bring him to bed as soon as he starts getting unhappy.
Any advice is appreciated
