So my toddler communicate when he pooped but no pee. However hes interested on what im doing when hes in a bathroom with me. Anyway. I give birth any day now and came up with the idea of potty train my toddler while daddy is on paternity leave. Is it too crazy idea? Isn't it too much to handle for my toddler? New baby, sharing mommy, crying baby and then daddy's home all the time (he loves him atm, and doesn't like me) is this a good time or should we wait?

I tried doing it back in Feb and it was a disaster 🙃
However we've just got back from a few days away on holiday abroad and she had her nappy off alot and is nearly there with being dry x

I would personally wait a little while as any changes can really set the toddlers back.
I’m due again early December and plan on potty training our 2 year old next month to give it time to really settle before his brother or sister arrives xx

I’m a week over due and I was thinking the same but I think I might start when it’s nice warm snd sunny and let him go have a good go at it x

Yeah my initial plan, before I got pregnant was to start during summer, but i know how much work it is, I also have a teenage son. But seing all your comments, I think I will take it easy and start june/July time
