Marriage issues, venting!

I work for the nhs as a clinician I usually do anywhere between 40-60 hour weeks my husband doesn’t work. I cook, I clean, I look after our child after 12 plus hours night shifts/after work/on my rest days my husband can’t even put his own clothes away that he takes off at night…

he’ll see me cleaning the floor and he’ll come in with muddy shoes, he’s got no interest in doing anything outside the house unless I am coming up with the idea or force him out the house.

I do all the jobs in the house, putting up lights, painting, DIY and other household chores as well as pay the bills ect.

We have been together for 10 years (since 17 years old) and married 3…
He wasn’t always like this.

I don’t know what to do, I have expressed this to him multiple times.

We have a 2 year old so it makes things very difficult and I’d feel bad telling him to leave the house and go to his parents but I’m stuck because he’s not changing. X

Excuse me? You work 40-60 hours and still do EVERYTHING while your husband doesn’t work and does nothing?

Girl get rid of him. He’s not contributing towards anything. You’re half way to being a single parent with the way he’s being and he’s clearly just a waste of space in your house😡

100% agree with Julia, he's a grown man, you shouldnt have to put up with him acting like a spoilt child. Theres no way in hell you should feel bad for telling him to get the hell out... thats him emotionally manipulating you and playing the victim to make you feel sorry for you. That's abuse. Stop putting up with it if you want things to change x he needs a wake up call. Letting him get away with it is enabling and won't change anything.

I hate to tell you this but you are already a single parent and when he goes you'll have less work!

How is he not embarrassed x

You definitely want to show your daughter a different way of living, this isn't it x

Sounds like you've got 2 kids. I can imagine he doesn't feel bad about you doing everything, otherwise he would actually change his behaviour and contribute, so I wouldn't feel bad about telling him to get off his ass or he knows where the door is

LEAVE. When did that happen women accept that shit. He doesn't bring ANYTHING to the table. That's not acceptable in any ways unless he broke his legs or have a terrible illness who pushes him to be that useless

Sorry, that just pissed me off for you. You deserve a real partner. He isn't one

I reported a teacher at my son’s elementary school, am I wrong?

This lady was driving erratically in the parking, a few times I saw her going the wrong way in a one way lane driving fast to get out before the parents started coming in the lot. Then another time I was walking across the lot and she drove very fast around another parent driving slowly and almost hit me as I crossed! She always speeds on the street to the school even in the school zone hours, I’ve drove behind her many times going to the school. I feel like I was in the right to report her as it’s an elementary school there’s tiny kids that don’t yet know how dangerous the streets can be. My husband however seems to hold some kind of grudge against me for doing it cause he makes comments about it a lot as if I’m a snitch or in the wrong! Was I wrong for reporting her!??

Husband reversing Toilet training efforts

My daughter is almost 3. Ive been trying to toilet train her for the last 6 months. I was going to start her on undies from the beginning but my husband carried on about how we have too much carpet so it would be too difficult. I listened to him for the first 5 months. The past few weeks ive gotten undies and have been using them for her. In the past couple weeks shes come really far. Though when ive come home from work the past 2 weeks and shes been with my husband, shes been wearing a nappy. I've explained to him how important it is to try to wear undies as this has been working for us but no matter what I say, he won't listen. And he said shes wet through her pants a few times and ive said thats part of toilet training (yes we do have the undies with the padding so it doesn't soak through as much). He said shes been doing better with her nappies than undies when he has her but I dont know what to believe. I always take her to the toilet when im home. He rarely takes the initiative. Im worried hes just being lazy. What would you guys do or say?

Apples

Hi moms! How are we serving apples safely to a 7 month old? Is stewing them the only option or can I cut them a specific way to where they are safe to eat raw? Thanks in advance 😁

I hate being a mom

Don’t get me wrong i love my kids so much and I will do anything and everything to make sure they are set but my boyfriend makes it so hard for me to enjoy it im constantly doing things by myself he works and I stay home with the girls cooking cleaning taking care of everything he works then leaves to go out after and the weekends he leaves so im home alone with my kids all the time recently we had a outing with his friends, and it just feels like he gets along way better with them than me in general. I mean the difference between him talking to his friends and him talking to me is so different when he talks to his friends, it’s like he wants to actually talk to them and me it feels like it’s always a chore to talk to me or like he’s bored or something he’s so mean at times and says really hurtful things I’m severely depressed anytime I try to talk to him about anything whether it’s something that he’s done or said or if it’s something that I’m personally going through he doesn’t care I mean he’s laughed in my face a couple of times when I would cry to him it constantly feels like like I’m stuck like there’s nowhere else to go he claims he loves me, but I never feel if and talking to him goes nowhere I mean, there’s so much that he’s actually done that I can’t even put into this post the feeling that I feel every day I just don’t know how to describe it

Who's the YES parent

My 4 year old always says "daddy always says yes and mummy always says no"
Im the default parent.
My partner always wants to be the fun one giving sweets and would buy her a new toy daily if i let him.
If she asks him for something he says yes and alot the time I have to then say no!
Ive spoken to him and told him its not good in the long run and he will agree but come his day off it happens all over again🤦🏽‍♀️
Our 4 year old is 100% closer to me and I think my partner is almost trying to but her affection!!!
