Water

How can I encourage my baby to drink water and a decent amount? I’ve tried different Tommee Tippee bottles/ cups with different straw types, we’ve tried Munchkin as it was recommended which worked really well but now he’s lost interest. He’s 11 months but will be on formula until he reaches 12 corrected in the summer but I’m worried that if by that time he still isn’t drinking he won’t be getting enough fluids

Unfortunately other than an open cup for him to try it’s a case of trying different brands/straws. We tried Tommee tippee he hated it and then we got a TumTum water bottle and after about a week he caught on and drinks around 7oz or more of water a day on top of his bottles

My little one hated all baby bottles but loved drinking from my Stanley cup. So I bought him his own mini one and he loves it

My little one also used the munchkin cup and also the nuby grip n sip cup

Another vote for the TumTum cup, i couldn’t get my little one to have any water, tried tommee tippee cups, munchkin and hated all of these but took to the TumTum immediately

C section

Since having a C-section, has anyone else felt like this?

After I eat, I sometimes feel really weak and heavy, like my body just slows down and even my posture feels off. I’m about 4 months postpartum and it’s still happening.

Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this or knows what it could be? 🤍

Just left hospital…

Omg just had an elective section when does the pain stop?
I’m day 1 today & although I’m moving around I’m only having paracetamol and ibuprofen which I can’t see helping! I’m so sore.
I’m gonna need to do stairs too. Also I’ve got a pico dressing any advice on making the most of that too x

Induction/epidural

For those that went through an induction did you have an epidural?

Context
With my first i didnt have an epidural until after his birth as i had a 3rd dagree tear, his birth was completely unmedicated because it was so fast.
Well anyway multiple people tried for 4 hrs to get the epidural in and failed it was so painful and my back was bruised badly for weeks, in the end they gave me a spinal.

I basically want to know if i can get through an induction (that i know tends to be more painful) without an epidural and just with other pain options or if i just opt into a cesarean

I have 12 days to decide and im stressed 😫
