We did no screen time until age 2 and still keep it very limited now age 6, most days it’s still none, no iPad. It works for us and I do believe I see the benefits.

Only thing he ever watched was those dancing fruits if I really needed to get stuff done when he was small and nothing else until 2. After 2 he was introduced to Disney films and a bit of Bluey here and there, he wasn’t much bothered and would dance to the Bluey song and then carry on about his day playing🤣 he’s now 3.5 and defo has his Disney favourites, loves Bluey and anything spider man or dinosaurs. I avoid things like peppa, cocomelon, miss rachel etc like the literal plague I can’t stand them and he doesn’t have a clue what they are. He doesn’t have an iPad/tablet and I don’t plan on getting him one anytime soon at all, I see no benefits to it, he doesn’t even really know what mine is and the only time he ‘uses’ it is FaceTime calls to family members.

We did no screen time at all until 18 months. Now every now and then she will watch a Julia Donaldson film while I make dinner and that’s for 20 minutes ish and not every day x

I wish I could give my kids screen time but it makes them act out.

We do screen time (tv) mostly educational programs like number block etc. I found it great for learning as it’s not my strong point and my eldest enjoyed it. I now have a baby who will see it in the background as I can’t stand silence and will still do play etc as main activity and the educational stuff 18m onwards.

iPad/youtube no. Tv & films yes

I’ve just always used common sense and moderation. Zero issues, behaviorally or academically.

Screen time done in moderation 👍sometimes have to force my kids to watch tv so they leave me alone 🥲
