Weaning - how much do they eat?

Hey ladies,
We started on purees with my 6mnth old baby about 10 days ago, but she seems to be totally uninterested, maximum 2-3 spoonful of puree each day. How is it going for others?

I think an ice cube size is the recommended amount...their tummies are so tiny. Don't be disheartened - good that they are having more than one spoonful and not totally repulsed.
Ive just accepted theres a lot of wastage (thank goodness for the dog) while weaning

Not quite sure to be fair it goes in on the spoon, comes out on the tongue, dances around her face, goes back in and repeat. Some makes it in and I eat what she doesn't 🤣

Which made spinach mash, which honestly I'd eat a bucket ton of 🤣

Im also on day 10. I have been doing a mix of pure and blw. Not much is actually getting eaten, I honestly think a couple of spoonfuls max.. lots of messy play to learn going on though. 😂

Food before 1 is just for fun

Don’t stress too much yet, the fact that she’s trying it and having some is positive. X

Starting solids is all about exploring its not so much about them eating. Its a new skill that they're learning, it'll take time. Don't put any pressure on it esp as milk is their main food source

Marriage issues, venting!

I work for the nhs as a clinician I usually do anywhere between 40-60 hour weeks my husband doesn’t work. I cook, I clean, I look after our child after 12 plus hours night shifts/after work/on my rest days my husband can’t even put his own clothes away that he takes off at night…

he’ll see me cleaning the floor and he’ll come in with muddy shoes, he’s got no interest in doing anything outside the house unless I am coming up with the idea or force him out the house.

I do all the jobs in the house, putting up lights, painting, DIY and other household chores as well as pay the bills ect.

We have been together for 10 years (since 17 years old) and married 3…
He wasn’t always like this.

I don’t know what to do, I have expressed this to him multiple times.

We have a 2 year old so it makes things very difficult and I’d feel bad telling him to leave the house and go to his parents but I’m stuck because he’s not changing. X

Nursery

Currently planning for baby number 2. My two year old goes to nursery two days a week. We had to reserve his place for our nursery in pregnancy and we didn’t have much choice on which days were available even this far in advance. What are people’s experience with this when siblings are joining the nursery? Do they generally get them in the same days as their older siblings? Worrying about work if they can only accommodate different days!

Wanting another

Our Jan baby is our 2nd child and I'm finding it hard having to pack away her clothes she's growing out of knowing I'll never be able to have them out again and to sell them.

My heart would absolutely love another but my wallet and energy does not. (32 years old).

My partner was never really keen when I told him I was pregnant again (needed help to conceive with my 1st). But now seeing him play with her he is absolutely smitten.

I hate these feelings of wanting another, I feel like having two is the sweet spot as they can go on rides together I feel like having a 3rd would be left out.

I am squeezing in as many cuddles and contact naps as I can now.

Does anyone else feel the same?

Sandwiches/ size of food

Baby is 10M old. Solid start app says most food to be offered as bite size, but been told by midwife/HV that the older they get the bigger the pieces? How do you offer sandwich for lunch?
