Anyone else having trouble balancing their daily activities while taking care of their baby?

My baby is 2 months old and I feel like I still cannot adjust to being a mom (first time mom)

It takes a while for you and your baby to settle into a routine and find a rhythm where you can get little jobs done.
Do not stress, enjoy your baby!!

My baby is almost 6 months and I still haven't adjusted. Because the life we had no longer exists. We need to learn and create a new life and new routines but that takes a lot of time. I mainly focus on spending time with my baby and the rest just happens.

Mine is 2yo and I’m still struggling. I think it’s something that’s gona keep being a reality until they need us less, like teenage years 🤷🏻‍♀️

Yes, there times I don’t eat. I’m so tired he isn’t sleeping without me with him. So instead of me getting stuff done, I’m sleeping because I end up knocking out trying to put him to sleep and comfort him long enough to get off the bed

I seen something the other day that said stop living in survival mode as a new mom and just enjoy your baby if all you did today was eat and feed your baby you did more than enough also pro tip get a good vibrating bouncer that doesnt need to be plugged in and put baby in it while you do simple tasks around the house also get a sock and a bag of rice and warm it up in the microwave and rub it on the bouncer before you set baby down so they arnt going from warm arms to cold bouncer that was the only way i could do anything with my daughter when no one else was around hope this helps also just know your doing great it does get easier it just takes time you got this mama🥰💖

Is my baby ok?!

My little girl will be 4 months soon, and the past few weeks she literally stiffens her whole body up straight when I try to sit her on my lap.. before a feed, after a feed or just to sit her in her chair? She also curves her back a lot when I hold her head over my shoulder to wind her??? It’s like she literally wants to get herself up from being sat down??? She also does it when she has a little bit of a temper? Anyone???

What week did you go into labor?

I’m having a c-section at 39+1, and I’m terrified labor will start before then. Currently at 37+3. I know some people deliver earlier or later than the included options. Feel free to share!

For elective c sections ?

For elective sections- do they do this bang on due date? Or can they wait two weeks like they do if you were overdue and going to be induced?

Bad hospital experience

Has anyone else had a bad hospital experience? I feel like I was not listened to and was rushed out of the hospital. I had very bad cramps in the postpartum room and I was told it was normal and I should just take the Tylenol… We were discharged at 10pm and no one checked the car seat we even asked. My birth plan was not listened to and did not see a lactation consultant. Has anyone else had the same experience?
