Not at this age, surely? Who gave you that advice? My first was 98/99th for both height and weight and he drank his usual bottles plus just ate any food I gave him, which obviously increased as he got older. My second is 75th for weight but also around 98th for height and he seems of a different temperament: his milk consumption has decreased since I started solids, but that's entirely led by him and not me (I also think it might be due to his teeth coming through). I am trying to get more milk into him but he's not having it! 😆

I got told to feed food first, i.e., weetabix first, then after his nap, its a 10oz bottle

Lunch is still a 10oz bottle

Dinner is solids

Around 7pm 10oz bottle

He was on 40oz a day, so I've managed to take 10oz off, and it seems to be working.

He gets 5 feeds a day in total.
30oz, 2 solid ones.

Anxiety

I feel like such a shit person, I had my baby last week after a fairly traumatic birth - I’m so in love with him but also I’ve been feeling really down and irritable since we’ve been home. My partners so supportive which makes me feel worse! We’ve had endless visitors and tomorrow my partners sisters coming down from a few hours away for the day she’s really full on at the best of times and obviously she’s going to be so excited to meet him etc and will love him - I’m just struggling with people having him etc at the moment and I feel terrible for it! I’m so overwhelmed I’m freaking out about them coming here and just taking over with him 😢 has anyone else been feeling like this? Am I being awful 🥺

Cradle cap??

Would you say this is cradle cap or something else? It came around 3 weeks ago when she was 3 months old. Never had cradle cap before this. It doesn’t seem to be getting any worse or bothering her. The first red mark is a birth mark it’s just the two scabby/red patches.

When did your baby start to cry less?

Looking for some light at the end of the tunnel 😅

At what age did your babies fussiness lessen and they started to cry less frequently?

Baby is currently 5 weeks old and some days he is calm and happy with only short periods of fussiness, but other days he is very fussy. We’re pretty sure a lot of it is down to gas and overtiredness which we’re doing every thing we can to help with.

But in general, at what age did you notice a shift in general fussiness lessening?

Bad behaviors

Incog so I’m not exposing my 3.5 yr old. She’s not really bad - it’s just everything she does pisses me off. How do you all deal?

Ex; Hates daddy and wants to do everything with mommy. Won’t even let him take her out of the car seat.

Ex; I said no to a lollipop on the way to daycare. She was screaming, crying, and kicking the back of my chair.

Ex; Time to eat breakfast? Time to brush teeth? Time to pee? Time to dress? Time to sleep? Won’t budge.

Ex; Pushes and sometimes hits her little sister mostly over playtime.

In general, she does everything I tell her not to do and does everything she’s not supposed to do. I’m losing it.

Also, her “hating” daddy is a problem. She will sometimes hit or scratch him.

What do I do OMG.
