Are they worth it? Looking into this one specifically

I got one my little one looked way yo small in it so ended up getting a small crib as i didnt like yow much space there was made me quite anxious but other than that they r great essiesially for after night feeds u dont have to mive with a sleeping baby much xc

We got a next to me crib while pregnant with the idea it would last longer than a moses basket however for us the little one struggled to settle in it as a newborn and we ended up after 3 days struggling buying a moses basket and he settled in that straight away. The next to me was used once he got a bit bigger for a good while until we got the cot bed.
Midwife said that it's a common thing that they feel too big for the newborn but I suppose it all depends on the baby too.

I have the tutti bambini cozee and I love it currently using it for my second baby and it was used for my first, would recommend for anyone!

The shnuggle is amazing, goes from next to me to cot and not much more expensive

They are in it for such a short amount of time I personally wouldn’t go mad and spend loads

We had the Moses basket and snuzpod, loved and used both. I got the snuzpod off marketplace and bought a little green sheep mattress to go in it x

I love my snuzpod studio. More sturdy than some of the plastic ones.
I had a Snuz for my first as well lasted 7 years in storage, last year and got mouldy so had to buy new and did the studio.

Worked really well for my lil lady..she loves she can see stuff through side mesh, and scratches it and feels super happy and cozy!

Struggling...

I love my babies dont get me wrong. They have about a year and 6 months in between them. Currently am feeling like a rubbish mother, I feel so run down and tired all the time. Have moments when the little one (5months) wakes up am not always happy to see her, coz it comes with a lot of effort and attention that sometimes am just too tired and just want to relax or get some rest. With my oldest I know that is easy shes a very independent girl and will play on her own and watch her shows when am resting my eyes. But ofcourse this makes me feel guilty as I feel like I should be doing more for them but my body just won't allow it at the moment. I feel guilty mainly because i love my little one but sometimes think about how life would be much easier and simpler if it was just me and her older sister. I feel like is not PMAD postpartum but could It be?. Because at other times I can't wait for her to wake up (younger child) and play with her and make her smile. And other days I just feel like running away from them both, from everyone and come back the next day ofcourse. Just trying to process the emotions.

When you drive alone with the baby/toddler what do you do when to stop and need to fill up gas

I’m a new drives and this a question that goes through my minds as I don’t feel like leaving my toddler alone in the car even if it’s locked but there’s different situations like she could be sleeping, so I wanted to ask what the mommy’s do?

Car seat newborn insert?!

Hi I’m really unsure on whether to remove my babies car seat newborn insert. She just looks really squished and uncomfortable but she’s only 8 weeks old? She weighed 11lbs 9 oz a week and a half ago and is quite long too?? (My babiie I size car seat)

4 month old sleep PLEASE HELP 🩷🩷🩷

My 4 month old is exclusively breast fed. He won’t take a dummy or bottle. We have been contact napping (he will nap for 1 hour on me mostly and then has one 2 hour nap) and co-sleeping but I now want to stop co-sleeping and reduce the contact naps.

Around 1-3 times a week for the past 2-3 weeks he will have his first nap of the day in the bassinet or next to me crib (I will breastfeed him, transfer while drowsy but awake, rock him and shhhh him to sleep). This worked - he would moan a little for around 10 mins but not cry and would sleep for around 30 mins.

This week all independent naps have been unsuccessful - I have not changed anything but he won’t sleep and then becomes overtired. So I give in and nurse him to sleep as I just want him to sleep.

Night time he wakes 6-11 times and it’s exhausting, he wants to feed to sleep each time. If I don’t nurse him and try rock him / shhh him / tap him he will cry and then it takes 1 hour plus+ to sleep. I am exhausted, I have no other support apart from my partner. He leaves for work at 5 am and gets home at 6.30pm. I am the only one who can get my baby to sleep and it’s exhausting. I feel like a shell of my former self and just want some time to be able to do normal things!

He will fall asleep on a walk in the pram or carrier too.

Also, last week his day time sleep was a lot less as we were out a lot of the day but he only woke at 1am!!!!! There was no change other than reduced nap time during the day but all the guidance online stayed less daytime sleep leads to worse night time sleep.

Any help is GREATLY appreciated please! I am at my wits end. I’m considering hiring a sleep coach as I don’t know what else to do but money is tight and I DO NOT want to do any cry it out at all!!

Feeling depressed about our situation

Heya, I’m feeling so low and really struggling…. Our son will be turning 1 soon. He’s never naps in his cot, but does sleep in it at night (however in our room).
He used to do contact nap, then pram nap as he got older and that went ok for months up until now. He’s too aware and stimulated by the noise and especially the light.

We’re STRUGGLING to keep our room pitch black at night (using cardboard on window, double roller blinds and roman blinds….) but it’s literally impossible during the day…. Streaks of light everywhere….

We’re now also struggling with night sleep as he wakes up crying and something settles on his own, most of the time, doesn’t.

We know we need to get him to sleep in his cot during the day, it just feels impossible (we have tried on many occasions before). He knows what’s coming and goes hysterical, then it’s too bright, then the neighbours make noise. Pick up-Put down method only stimulates him more, same his patting, shushing, etc.

We are so tired and need help. Any advice?
