As the title says, really. Starting to prepare myself for potty training LO and wondering if mycarrypotty is really as brilliant as the ads make out or if I would be spending £25-30 on a gimmick?
I'm honestly feeling pretty overwhelmed with it at the moment, so any tips or recommended reading also welcome

I find it useful! I don’t think it’s essential but it’s very handy for day trips at park/needing to pull over whilst driving for a wee!

We got ours second hand for about £5 on marketplace. We only used it 2-3 times but it was great to have just in case!

I think if it works for your child it’s great. My daughter absolutely hates it and refuses to go on it luckily it was a hand me down from my auntie so I didn’t pay for it. We have to carry around a whole mini toilet so it would be great if we could use the carry potty but she’s not a fan😂

Ours was great. It was amazing for about a month or 2 until she was fully trained and even now its useful for when we are out on long journeys or places that dont have a toilet. We just keep it in the back of the car as a just in case.

We've used ours loads!

Worth getting one second hand, it was useful for my daughter for a few months and now we’re giving it the summer to see if she’ll use it again and then we’ll be selling it. For parks and car boots it’s been great, but we were never just whipping it out at every opportunity as she quickly got into the hang of trying before going anywhere and was able to hold it for a good few hours til we found a toilet.

Think it over priced for a travel potty

We never bothered. We were given a travel potty and never used it.

Aldi has them in. I work there lol an ours aren’t that price
