Eating out with baby

Finding it tricky going out to coffee shops, restaurants etc and feeding my baby. Now
He is being weaned and eating more solids we’re either bringing something with us or ordering off the menu if suitable. At home he’ll sit in his high chair well and eat. When out it’s getting to be impossible. He doesn’t sit in the high chair properly and mostly trys to spin himself so he can watch around the room or stare at people, which at the minute is considered cute but there will come a time we have to discourage it. As he is pulling his legs up into the chair to move its putting him at possible risk of falling out (he is watched the whole time so no way he ever could). He’ll eat a bit of food but no where near as much as when he eats at home. I know it sounds silly to suggest at this age but I’m seriously wondering if he will eventually have a diagnosis of ADHD as his behaviours show signs and it runs in our families. I don’t know what we do though if ever we go out somewhere or how we can encourage him to sit properly and focus on us or his food instead as at the moment it’s not working!

Greek yoghurt pizza 🍕

200g self raising flour
Teaspoon of baking powder
200g Greek yoghurt.

This makes so much! It’s so soft like bread which is great for babies just starting to try foods or even when you’re out and about ☺️

Just mix everything, roll in a ball then cut into portions (may need more flour when mixing so it’s not so sticky). Then place flour on worktop, roll into little circle pizza shape - bake for 5 minutes (just the dough) then take out, flip over the place everything on top and then bake until cooked (roughly 7-10 minutes). Unsettled at nursery- NEED ADVICE

Ladies, I am having a massive meltdown here😂 my 15 month old has been going to nursery since January. She does 2 days a week, starting with half days and now doing full days and has been since around March (08:30am - 5pm).

I’ve just got off the phone with the nursery and they have suggested putting her back to half days as she is having more bad days than good.

I have had a massive meltdown, feeling like I am failing her and missing something. She is such a smiley, happy girl when she’s at home and with her grandparents the other 3 days in the week.

I really felt like we were making progress and are now taking a step back (I am probably being over Emotional here).

I do work full time but I am in a very fortunate positions where she doesn’t NEED to go to nursery but we always wanted her to go for social skills etc.

Has anyone experienced this and have any advice?

Nursery or Childminders?

My husband and I are currently applying for nursery waitlists for our baby’s childcare but I recently got into a conversation with a mum who favoured childminders for her two children. Anyone with first hand experience able to share which option they chose and why? It’s our first child so we have no experience with it other than the fact I’m a teacher (but for secondary).

Am I being unreasonable?

I currently have a 7 week old and a 7 year old. My husband came home from work I had made him his tea which he ate, he then held the baby whilst I had a quick tidy up and put all the washing away.
He then informed me he was going to the pub to watch the football.
I asked if he could stay home as my eldest still has homework to do, the baby needs a bath, I need to express some milk, and it’s hard work getting them both to sleep, I also haven’t eaten any tea yet, I am shattered and I have a broken ankle to add to the mix.
He said I always make him feel like shit whenever he wants to do something and I shouldn’t have a problem with it. He then proceeded to tell me I should go
Out more often as he would prefer it 😡
