Girl, why are you embarrassed? Being pregnant is like suddenly taking 100 birth control pills a day. It has a huge effect on people’s bodies and it manifests in different ways for different people.

Be prepared to advocate for yourself. If not for yourself — do it for your baby, who deserves to have a momma who models self-love and bravery.

How do you politely tell your MIL to stop folding everything

I have said it MANY times that she doesn't need to fold our clothes or do our laundry. Yet I'll come home from a baby class to find a load of laundry on (nothing separated, the whites have turned grey) and clothes folded. I have to stop the washer, pull out all the white clothes (some of white I've had to put in a bleach bath to get back to being white) and refold or unfold clothes so I can put them away properly. All of our socks have one super stretched elastic and one normal tension.
It has been almost 3 years of this. She shrank the only pjs that were comfortable to sleep in while pregnant with my son, when I was pregnant with my daughter. And before you say I probably just gain weight because of the bump, bump does not affect the length of your arms.

Is this a joke?

So my baby turns two this weekend. This past weekend we went out to get some things for the party, nothing crazy, and while we were out; out of nowhere while driving my partner of 12 years says “Is (Our first child) mine? (First) looks nothing like me. (Second) looks exactly like me to a t”. I just looked at him and said “seriously” he then says ”relax, its a joke” so I asked him what part of that was funny and to explain the humor because I don’t see any and don’t find it funny. This is the first time he’s ever said something like that so I imagine someone’s either in his ear or something else is going on. And before anyone asks, yes they’re both his. Any ideas? Suggestions?

Hitting

My 13 and half month old sometimes slaps either myself, my partner, his toys or his own face when he gets told no, can this be normal?

Interacting with baby

Apart from talking, reading, tummy time, are you doing anything else with your 6-8 week olds? I feel like I'm not keeping baby stimulated enough in the short periods they're awake

Bedtime

What’s everyone’s bedtime looking like currently? For a short while I was able to put baby down at 7pm awake and he’d get himself to sleep but now he’s hit 3 months he is always upset and I’ll have to rock him to sleep then attempt transfer (which fails lol) or stroke his face in cot until he falls asleep. Has anyone else hit a 3 month battle at all? X

Do you swear around your kids?

Not swear at, but occasionally use swear words in front of your children?

My daughter stomped her foot at a crow today and said “I’m so pissed off!” because the crow was trying to steal some of her picnic. She’s 3.

My head was in my hands. It’s my fault because when things go wrong, I sometimes say that, and she’s obviously picked up on it.
