Vaginal or C-Section preference?

Just looking for people's experiences who may have had both a vaginal and a c section? I had a vaginal birth for my first. I struggled very badly with contractions, but the birth part was okay and had second degree tears. Walking straight after and recovery good.

C section has crossed my mind just because I hated contractions that much haha! But I keep telling myself the recovery would be harder, and its easier to just go through the pain with a vaginal and once baby is out, its over. Whereas c section may not hurt to get baby out, but harder recovery (haven't experienced so presuming).

Whats everyone's experiences?

I had natural labour for 10 hours with non-stop contractions. I then had an emergency C-section and the relief I felt when they did! My recovery also wasn't super difficult but I did take it easy.

I wanted a vaginal birth so bad because the idea of being cut open scared me so much, but I ended up needing an emergency C-section. Now I’m honestly too scared to try vaginal, so I’m planning on scheduling a C-section this time.

I had an amazing vaginal birth. It was my first baby. Don’t let people scare you. I would never get a MAJOR surgery if it wasn’t needed.

I had 17 hour labour back to back contractions throughout the whole time pushed for 3 hours lost 2L blood placenture rupture episiotomy and tore aswell and I still wouldn’t want a C-section 😅as much as I didn’t have the best natural birth i definitely wouldn’t want major surgery!

I have had 2 water births and I haven’t had a C section personally so cannot really comment but I have known a few people whose recovery wasn’t too great.
C section to me I was dead against and it was always emergency situation only for me. I never contemplated getting one at all either time, it’s major surgery after all. Can’t drive, can’t even lift your baby/child etc

Had a c section with my first and a vbac with my second and I preferred the vaginal birth! Yes the contractions were painful and being stitched up after a 2nd degree tear but the recovery was so much easier and quicker than my c section x

If you have an epidural then the pain of contractions won’t really exist?

Hair, weddings and illness

I’m a hairdresser and I’ve woken up sooo sick. But of course it’s my clients last hair appointment before her wedding day this Friday. We’re doing a colour and trim.
16 years and this always never gets easier for me.
On one hand I’ll battle on and come in to work. Im a true girly girl and if I didn’t have my hair done for my wedding I’d freak TF out. So I get it and it’s what makes me just power on 99% of the time. But then there’s always the omg what if I make her sick and she wakes up on her wedding day poorly and it’s all my fault.

I HATE my job for this reason. It’s a constant head f&uk

I’ll probably make myself x10 worse by not resting and it’s going probably send me into anxiety/panic attacks territory for the next few hours while I decide what I’m gonna do.

Happy Tuesday guys!

Big bump...

Is anyone watching their bump get bigger by the day knowing you still have potentially a few weeks to go and completely bricking it? Everyone keeps telling me my bump is huge.. and this isn't my first pregnancy but it's my first big 'proper' bump 😭 I'm not sure if my muscles are just loser or baby is actually that much bigger - and people keep on mentioning it and asking if i'm sure there's only 1 is giving me anxiety

Why

Why are most people wanting to start to try and induce labour earlier that 37 weeks 🥴 it honestly baffles me 😅 I get people want to meet their babies but geez babies are still developing and growing.
