Has anyone been able to stop comfort feeds at night?
My 7 month old daughter is EBF and until last month only woke max 3 times for feeds and not really using it for comfort (if she woke then she would be okay with me just holding her). The past month though she has been waking every 1-2 hours to comfort feed. She doesn’t take a dummy. I don’t want to stop bf at night and start formula but if we withhold the comfort feed she screams and wakes every 20 mins until I give in. We try rocking and walking with her instead which is how we put her to sleep but its not worked. Any advice?

I found that mine stopped feeding through the night when we upped from 2 to 3 meals a day, this was at about 8.5 months. Literally within days of sticking to a breastfeeding and solids routine. She still wakes, but doesn’t feed
