My house is not big enough for the pram inside - I have no hallway and limited living room space. I am having to leave the pram and travel system in the boot of my car which is on the driveway right outside the house. I am leaving the baby in his Moses basket safe and going to the car with the door open so can hear him. It won’t be too bad when he is in his stroller because this can be condensed down which I can bring in and fit in the house.
Does anyone else do this / or know anyway of resolving this??
I have anxieties and OCD which I am getting help for from the mental health team. My husband thinks I’m over thinking it for how long I am going to the car but I don’t know? Something just doesn’t sit right with me.

Girl we always leave the pram in the boot, they’re so big and take up too much space! Baby’s gonna be absolutely fine for the few seconds you’re out, and you’ll absolutely hear them cry with the door open. Take a breath, you’re already doing an incredible job mama 🥳

I do exactly the same thing my lovely, for the same reasons. Your baby is in a safe place, and I'm sure you're no longer than 5 minutes getting the pram ready. I also take my front door keys with me just in case some freak wind suddenly hits and somehow closes my door. You're doing your best and it sounds like you're smashing it with the hand you're dealt with x

What I used to do was put them in Moses basket but the basket on the floor then I wasn’t paranoid for those few minutes about them falling out (even though they are perfectly safe). You’re not doing anything wrong don’t worry🩷

Maybe using a baby carrier so your with him, might ease your worries :)

We leave ours in the boot of my car too as there just isn't space. If we've been outside for any length of time, we've set up the camera and taken the monitor outside with us so we can still see him ☺️

Yes I’ve done this since day 1. Now he’s 9 months I leave him in his playpen while I put the pram in the car, take the rubbish out etc. As long as they can’t come to any harm, they are absolutely fine!
