Weaning

As a first time mum.. I have no clue about weaning at all 😂.
My little boy started weaning today, he currently has 4 8ozish bottles a day. 8-9 am, 11 am - 12 pm, 3-4 pm then last bottle around 7-8 pm then sleeps through the night.
How and where would I put these purées in? Is it time to start extending time between the bottles and add purées in between? Any advice is welcomed x

At first just offer a bit about an hour after a feed. The first few weeks is really about offering tastes, textures and allergens x

Start once a day, morming is normally best to watch for allergic reactions, then once they start eating 3 table spoons for a 'meal' id introduce another 'meal' xx

Staff ratio at nursery

What is the legal requirement of staff to children ratio for a nursery with children aged 2-5 all in the same room?

Recently I was told where I was thinking of sending my son the ratio is 10:1 (children to staff)

I visited a room with 2-3 year olds and the ratio was 5:1 (staff to children)

How is it legal to then just add on another 5 because others are older you still have to care for the 2 year olds. Does the older children suddenly mean they can have 6 2 year olds and 4 4 year olds with 1 key worker?

Advise would be great thanks

Again something I never thought my daughter would like

I gave her one because she kept staring at me eating. She's had 5 since. She's 10.5 months. My 3 yo refused to even eat the rice because it touched a chip.

Is anyone else in this same space?

So I have a 6 month old and in a long distance marriage. My husband was only able to stay for a month after the baby was born before leaving for work. I have been raising my son alone and this has caused a lot of strain between me and my husband. He just doesn’t seem to understand how much effort it’s taking me to raise our baby. I’m so irritated I feel like divorcing him.

Baby's first birthday gift ideas?

This is my second baby, and we have no idea what to get him for his birthday next month.
We still have the big toys my first had, a trike, sandpit ect. We did have a slide and swing but our garden (we moved last year) isn't really suitable so they're at my parent's house instead.
I just don't know what to get him. I'm thinking maybe sensory bits? I need things that aren't going to take up too much space. Any suggestions? Anything your little ones have loved, or anything you wished you'd got them sooner?

question!?

Mopping wears me out, but I can’t stand dirty floors either. Thinking of getting a robot mop — any recommendations? What should I look for? Or is there a better option?
