My daughter is 2 years old, and has been walking on her tippy toes she is struggling with social cues and emotions. Idk if this is normal and was wondering if anyone has had this situation before?? I’m diagnosed with autism and she was premature too hope that helps

Walking on tippy toes at two is normal

Early assessments are usually first available somewhere between age 2 and age 3. Sometimes the waitlist to get an assessment can be as long as 6 months.
My husband is autistic. My SD is autistic. It runs in famlies. As soon as my baby hits one and a half I fully plan to start getting into lists for an assesment. First there is a wait to get an assesment, then there are waits to get into ABA/therapy. Early intervention is so much more effective. There is no down side except for maybe some wasted time to seeking early assesment and intervention if your kid is not ASD... and if they are and you wait, your kid's language and social skills could be delayed by years. Take it from someone whose husband deeply regrets he didn't get his daughter assessed ASAP.
