Crying on my birthday 😭 new mom of a 13 month old boy and new to Raleigh and I have no one out here to celebrate me with and I’m lonely. I miss having friends and knowing people. Anyone in the same boat ?

💗💗 happy birthday babes!! Your little one is adorable. Sorry you’re feeling down! I am in a similar boat - moved here last year and have found it hard to make some friends.

There are a bunch of Facebook groups that you might have better luck with. I feel like this app is hit or miss. Raleigh moms group, or there are a bunch of others based on your specific area of Raleigh. I’ve been getting some better responses and chats there.

I’m around to chat too but I’m also old (36) 😂 so I get it if you want some girls closer to your age.

Happy birthday 🎈🎂 My son's birthday is May 24th of mine is May 28th 😂 tons of may birthdays
I completely understand I don't really have any friends so my birthday is just going to be my son and my husband and my dad 😂 I've always lived in Raleigh so I know a lot just when I had my son I lost my friends we were in different parts of life I had him when I was 21 and I haven't been able to make friends since I have became socially awkward
I am always here to chat if you need someone to chat my son turns four this month

Flying when 24 weeks pregnant

Hi all, looking for some tips and advice. I need to fly for work to Germany so short haul with Lufthansa.

Am wondering if anyone else flew around this time and whether you were ok without a fit to fly note? I won't need one as I'll be before 28 weeks but wondering if anyone had difficulty proving this with the airline?

Don't want to pay for a private NHS fit to fly letters (my GP doesn't do them!) when I don't need one but also worried they won't believe me that I'm only 24 weeks (I'm quite big as it's my second!).

Did you notify the airline in advance? Wondering if I need to for any help with my bag or is this done at check in, or not done at all!

Any advice appreciated! Many thanks.

I genuinely don’t understand why it’s so hard to find true and loyal friends these days. It’s something in the water lmfao??

Hey bestie!

Looking for a mom bestie who actually texts back and doesn’t make it weird 😭 just easy convo, no awkward pauses, no overthinking replies like we can talk about life, kids, chaos, and random nonsense without it feeling like a job interview. Bonus if we can be funny and consistent 🫶 I want a real friend, not an off and on situation LOLL 😭

Best gifts for 3+

If you have a child who has already had their third birthday - what was the best gift they got? And I'm talking about stuff that kept their interest (even if on and off) for over 6 months.

TYIA ❤️
