My baby has just tuned 1 and has been gifted so many large birthday gifts that we just don’t have space for in our small end of terrace house.
I am very grateful for everyone who has spent money on my baby but I just cannot store all of these huge presents (ride on electric car, ball pit, water and sand table, indoor trampoline, 4ft stuffed teddy, summer house and indoor climbing set.
We have a small garden, no garage and a spare box room that is currently used for storage. Our son’s bedroom is small to say the least and barely has room for a cot, wardrobe, bookshelf and dresser.
Unfortunately, we cannot afford to move to a bigger house due to our preferred living area (family and work) being expensive and me retuning on a part time basis means we have less money.
Previously, we had politely asked family to buy smaller gifts or give money for my son’s bank account. We could then buy 1-2 large gifts that we can store or save the money towards his future.
What do I do? I literally have nowhere to store these, let alone have the space for my little boy to actually play with them. I try to only store what we need but I genuinely cannot throw away anything to make space for all of these new gifts.

It’s sad when people just gift and assume it’s what you need. How about selling them?

Maybe sell them and put the money in babies account

Sell what won’t be used and is not needed.
The sand and water tray will come in useful very soon, and if it’s a sturdy one will be used for a long time so even if it takes up a bit of space it’ll be worth it.
