So I have seen many posts and comments over the years about people having braxton hicks. Some as early as 30 weeks.
Is it normal not to get them?
Those who got the hicks, did you have a breach baby? Small baby? Low fluid? Anterior placenta?
I had all of those, bubba was born at 37+6 via c-section but I never had a single contraction.

I didn’t have them at all with my first two pregnancies that I remember but with my third I had quite a lot of them. He was a good sized baby (8lb 3 at 38+2) and I had quite a lot fluid but other two babies were similar size and not sure about fluid

I didn’t have them at all, also didn’t have ‘normal’ contractions- entirely back labor for me 😅 I didn’t even realise I’d gone into labor at first; thought it was sciatica…

Didn't have any with either of my pregnancies. Both my girls were over 7lb and born at 39 weeks and 37 weeks (on the dot😅) From what my doctor had told me, all of that was normal. My coworker is pregnant with her 3rd and shes in her 30 weeks and she's been getting them. I honestly believe that it's all due to pregnancies being different 😊

I had never had them with my first 3 and I’m 35 weeks with my fourth and had them intense since 20 weeks. They are really strong now and make me hot and struggle to catch a breath. X

Never had them. My pains come when my labour starts and that’s the start of the real thing for me, it gets stronger and stronger until I finally give birth. Weeks before that, I felt no pain at all not even any false alarms. Once it comes it comes full force for me there’s no in between there’s no questioning “is this it?” Coz it actually is IT for me.

I never had them

I think theyre very common but nothing is wrong if you dont get them. Everyone and evrey pregnancy is different

At 37 weeks, you don’t need to worry about contracting. Baby is fully developed to be safe for delivery at 39 weeks. (Just stating because a lot of people get the terminology confused thinking it means they should expect to be going into labor AT week 39. :) ) When going naturally, it is fully normal to carry into 40-41 weeks before labor starts. :) Not everyone has braxton hicks. :) I hope your baby is doing well!
