Overlap tummy after c section

So I had my second elective c section. My first went very well, my tummy went back to how it was literally the very first week. I’ve always had a flat tummy and being size 8-10. This time I still feel bloated and the skin is over lapping where the incision is. Will my stomach go back how it used to be?. I was just wondering how other mums second c section went.

Ive had 2 c sections as well

I was a size 10/12 before having 2 c-sections. My arm one was early and I felt like I went back to normal. Made it back to a size 12. But the second one seems like a harder recovery. I’m back to working out though. Still having some abdominal tightening so I’m stretching a lot. I’m back to a size 14 after almost a year. There are a few spots on my scar line that look a little weird but I’m just waiting a little longer before I freak out

If you feel bloated, drink some green tea. Green tea debloats you faster than anything and can help you lose any weight. For your skin overhang, you can use Palmers firming lotion and it will tighten your skin back up. Or you apply vicks and can wear a belly band to help shrink it back.

First solo steps 😭🤍

11 months 8 days and she’s just taken her first wobbly solo steps this evening and I’m a wreck 🥹🥹 Everyday she’s doing something new and I love it so much but it also feels like the baby chapter is really coming to an end and she’s definitely, DEFINITELY, our last baby so it all just feels like a lot emotionally. What a privilege to do this journey and experience all these moments! 🥹🤍

I’m angry at the nhs

Ladies, I’m pregnant. The hospital did wrong! They told me I had a miscarriage but what they took out was lineing tissue instead of my baby . I have been pregnant for months! I’m 15 weeks pregnant. I’m so angry at the hospital and I want to cry!!!!!!

Natural birth or c section, which did you prefer?

Ladies who have had both a natural delivery and a c section, which did you prefer in the long run? I’ve had a c section and was told I could never deliver naturally, but after a scan last week they now have said that I potentially can deliver naturally if I choose to. I know the section left me crippled for months so I’d love to give natural a shot but it seems terrifying! Let me know your thoughts x

Hospital visits

Are you planning to have visitors at the hospital?

I’m having a planned c-section so I know I’ll be in for at least one night. I only want my mum visiting outwith my partner and my toddler.

I think my partner is a bit upset his mum hasn’t been mentioned but she’s not involved with our toddler at all and makes no effort. So I don’t see why I should rush to introduce her to our new child 🤷🏻‍♀️
