Booking appointment

When did you have a call from your midwife to arrange a booking appointment? I'm 8 weeks 4 days and just wondering when I can expect to hear anything. Thanks 😊

I had a text with an appointment. The appointment was at 8 weeks

Mines on Tuesday but they did say it can be between 8-10 weeks ☺️

I’ve just had my booking appointment at 9 + 3, and I think they called me around 7 weeks..

You should have it between 8 and 10 weeks I think? I had mine last week at 8 weeks 4 days. Have you registered your pregnancy? I did mine on my pregnancy notes. And I only got a email on thursday after my midwife appointment for my 12 week scan x

Thanks for your responses. Yes I called my GP at 4 weeks and they sent me a link for my pregnancy notes. I've filled it in as far as I'm aware. I may chase up if I don't hear anything by next week. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Have any of you got your scan date yet?

C-section Scar

I am almost 6 weeks postpartum and my c-section is starting to hurt again. There no redness or anything, just pain. Is that normal? My OB said it was healing nicely and that he wasn’t concerned at my two week appointment.

Constipation post c section

10 days post c section. I have the worst constipation ever since the operation. And constant urge down there to go which is quite painful.

Uk mums!

Daughter is having general anesthetic for a 10 min procedure. Do I need to pack some pajamas, night nappy and my own snacks for it? I forgot to ask the nurse? Also do they allow hair to be up for the procedure, my girl has crazy hair 😂

Basically any recommendations!

Postpartum bleeding

So I had my daughter just over a month ago never had any problems with my postpartum bleeding bleed this happened for about four weeks no pain or stomach ache I then stopped bleeding completely a week later I’ve started bleeding again and quite heavily and with bad stomach ache passing clots is this normal?

Pelvic girdle pain

Is anyone else really struggling with pelvic girdle pain? I’m in absolute agony with it and walking is awful, it’s so painful and paracetamol isn’t touching it! My midwife has referred me to the physio but I only have four weeks left and she reckons they might not even get to see me before baby is here😫
