Lots of people recommended Dr Brown and Lansinoh bottles to me because they are similar to a nipple, however, my baby actually preferred Mam bottles. Use the slow flow teet too so that baby doesn't end up preferring the ease of a bottle if you want to do both. Also, when introducing the bottle for the first time, morning is best I found! They're more at ease after a good sleep.
If they refuse it at first, don't be disheartened or keep pushing it, you don't want to develop a negative association, but put it down and try again in the next hour.
I hope any of this helps you, as this advice helped me x

Im currently doin both ive found using the minbie bottles and milk stored in the fridge or freshly pumped the best root as my girl didnt like the taste of frozen milk and also these bottles are designed for breast fed babies so they don't lose the latch hope this helps

Its trial and error to find a bottle they like. It took me three tries (Tommee Tippee and NUK First Choice were a big no) till we tried Dr Brown and my little one latched straight away.

Also if you plan on switching to formula it can sometimes be the same. I tried Kendamil first, but he kept being sick and seemed to have pain in his tummy. Since switching to Cow&Gate just over a month ago all had been good!

I still breastfeed, it's just easier when I am out to give formula as my little boy is 5months today but 70cm in length already and loves to stretch out straight when feeding which isn't practical in say a small cafe 😅🥹

Emotionally drained

I don't understand why my daughter is so evil and negative 24/7 unless she is begging for something. That's the only time she smiles and is happy for a second. Im literally literally so tired of it. I don't want her around me anymore. I've been crying all day because I genuinely don't know what to do with or for her anymore.. I just need someone to talk to, other than the ones that knows me or her. Because they just don't get it or understand it. They brush it off and I'm literally drained with her.

Nappy Brand

When I went on maternity leave, I was gifted a nappy cake from a charity through my work. The nappies were out of their packet so I am unsure on their brand & want to know before using.

Does anyone know what brand these are? Added a picture for reference!

Doctor made me uncomfortable

My husband slipped down the stairs while holding my daughter last week so we took her to the doctor to be checked. She had a little rug burn on her forehead but was perfectly fine and her normal happy self. Because it was a last minute visit we didn’t see our regular doctor & this doctor checked her thoroughly… including the inside of her vagina.. I’m not wrong for being uncomfortable with this right? My daughter is 10 months old and this is the first doctor to do this and when I said “why hasn’t anyone else done this?” she goes “oh uh good question”..

Breast feeding AND bottle?!

Heyy mama’s, I need some help or advice or even some experience. I’m expecting in about a month and my husband wants to help with feeding so I’m not getting up every 2 hours. I am going to be breast feeding and pumping as well and he wants to help bottle feed (breast milk) in-between so I can get a bit of sleep. Do you think bottle feeding might make the little one not want to breast feed? Does it usually work out to do both? Should I avoid mix feeding? Not too sure what to do..!
