We give our lg fruits and vegs with the main meals and no snack. Nhs says babies under 1 don't need snack

We don't give snacks yet as NHS says they don't need it under one. If he gets hungry between meals, he has milk. I know his dentist said as well that once he is having snacks, just to be cautious of the quantity of fruit given due to the long term impact on teeth. He recommended to choose more savoury snacks than sugary

Yoghurt coated rice cakes , banana bread ,
A baby can have a snack under one if you want to give them a snack 😅dont stress ,

We have 2 months, many under 2 months until they're 1. As long as they're still getting their milk there's nothing wrong with snacks. Anything you like, cheese & biscuits usually go down well, fruit (obviously sugar side is fine as long as they're not eating a crazy amount, and you brush their teeth twice a day much like anything else, they'll be fine), yoghurt, rice cakes, bread sticks, etc etc.

The nursery gives our LO snacks when she's there, so you can certainly give them snacks now if you want.

I've got LO a few snack options from Organix and Kiddylicious. Just stuff like melty buttons, rice cakes, baby crisps, baby biscuits, etc. We also give her yoghurt as a snack sometimes or fruit.

Going from 2-3, Help! 😩

My 2 step-daughters live with us full time, and have done for nearly 5 years. We now have our 4week old baby boy and I'm really struggling with how a routine will ever come into place.

I had a C-section so have not been doing many of the school runs as I'm unable to drive. My mum has been living with us during the week to help as my partner had to go back to work 4 days after bringing baby home.

We are getting closer to the time my mum won't be here to help and I'll be doing all of the school runs (and all other things that come with being a mum and running a house) and I do not know how I'm going to get out the door at 8am - let alone keep everyone organised and settled.

Parenting isn't new to me but being a mummy to a new born baby is so I feel a little lost.

Any advice welcome!

Day festival with 6 month old

Me and my partner are taking my 6 month old to a local day festival... Initially planned to come home early evening but now wondering whether to stick out till after the main headline act so my partner can see. Is this a stupid idea with a young baby? My frienfs are camping near to main area and so can take baby back there for naps plus most of the day will be spent in kids field. Thoughts / advice welcome. I would then drive home late evening.

Unreasonable to be annoyed at this??

So me and my boyfriend have been together 6 months and is it a bit shitty that we have only been for dinner once? And not really been anywhere on a day out. Alls he does is work, a lot. Which I like in a man but he works 60 hours a week and always says he has no money. But I just would love to get dressed up a night and I love going for dinner/going on adventures etc but he just works and sleeps 🙈 I don’t even ever think we’ve went for lunch. I have a 6 year old daughter and only get 2 nights a week free so would be nice to actually go somewhere or do somethin. It’s always me askin go do stuff and he’s just like “yeah come round to mine” and we just sit and watch tv 🙈

Nursery help/advice

I am a first time mum and want the best for my little girl, she is incredibly smart and she’s almost 2, she knows colours counts to ten sings songs, she’s very clever, I applied for nursery 9-3 but they don’t have that available they have 1-6:30 but her bath and bed routine starts at 5:30 she’s in bed by 6:45, I originally was going to look at a part time job in the 9-3 hours but that wouldn’t work as she would be picked up at 4:30 to get home and settled for bed! I am looking for advice is it worth her going at 2, did anyone have a child that went at 3 and 2 and what was the difference? I am a stuck mummy because of course i want her home but i also want the best but before this new funding came in, children went at 3 unless you paid for it? ANY ADVICE WOULD BE MUCH APPRECIATED 🫣
