My little girl has been potty trained for around a year now. She takes herself to the toilet both at home and nursery for a wee, and will shout when she’s done a poo so that we can help her wipe We’ve also recently gotten rid of the night time nappies which has gone really well! We haven’t had any accidents in a long long time.
However the past week or two she’s had two wee accidents at nursery, as well as three at home. It seems to have come out of the blue and we’re not sure why. She tells us straight away that she’s accidentally had a wee in her pants, and today actually got to the toilet before she shouted me, but didn’t actually make it on to the seat before she had a wee which resulted in a puddle on the floor bless her 🥴
We’ve not had any major life changes, but we have noticed she’s also started feeling nervous going into nursery again after being quite happy and confident for a couple of months. It seems to be after my husband took her in instead of me for the first time. Could this have unsettled her a little bit maybe?
Has anyone else’s little ones had a regression with their potty training recently or anyone that could offer any suggestions? We never make her feel bad for it and gently remind her to go as soon as she feels the need, but not sure what else to do!

My son was accident free for months and then suddenly had 3 accidents in a span of a couple weeks. In his case I think he go too confident with it, realised he can hold wees and started holding them for too long. Now we’re trying to give him more reminders to go before meals, before leaving the house, before bed etc rather than just waiting for when he asks like we used to before x
