Someone from Church gave me a lift home and we both have young kids and he was saying that his shoulders hurt because he slept funny, and I said, oh tell me about it, our one comes into our bed in the night and you have to sleep on the edge of the bed. And he goes, "oh that's not good, that can't be good for your sex life"

That is a weird thing for a man to say when he's alone with a woman he's just giving a ride to....

I think that is a weird thing to say to you, unless you are very close to this person and it is something you would talk to him about anyway but by reading your post I don’t imagine it is something you would discuss with him anyway

Unless this is a close girlfriend of yours, then yes it’s weird.

It's inappropriate, especially from a male church member who is taking you home from church. It makes me wonder what he was expecting in response because there's not many ways to reply to that comment (you'd either have to laugh along- giving him what he thinks is a pass to keep making inappropriate comments, agree with him that it isn't good for your sex life, or defend that your sex life is fine). I wouldn't accept any more rides from him and if he makes any more inappropriate comments maybe tell someone from the church that can help correct him on what are appropriate conversations to be having in these settings & with members of the church.

Extremely inappropriate. I think he was trying to spark a conversation…

Voted wrong it’s inappropriate
