My baby was 10 weeks old yesterday and I think he has Infant dyschezia. Before 6 weeks he pooed after every feed, mustard colour and seeded (breastfed baby) and wasn’t in any pain. Then since 6 weeks he’s been going once a day and the colour has changed to brown, watery mucus, he is in so much pain screaming and crying real tears. I’ve taken him to the doctors 3 times and they just say he will grow out of it or it’s down to his vaccines (even though he only had them a week ago). Other than when he’s trying to pass wind or poop, his a very happy baby, smiling and laughing away. What do I do? Can post pictures of poop if needed.

My boy had infant dyschezia it took him till about 4-5months old to grow out of it but he also has cmpa, does he have any other symptoms other than the change in his stool x

Was there anything to do to help? I hate seeing him like this. No literally nothing apart from when he’s screaming he goes red and has a hard tummy. Throughout the day he’s literally fine it’s only when he’s trying to do a bowel movement or pop x

Maybe also try the milk you’re on but the comfort version, it might help with him passing stool as it’s broken down milk proteins making it easier on the stomach xx
