I have already tested positive 😌 but as of yesterday noticed acid reflux?? Doesn't make sense to me as I'm only 4 weeks pregnant. I didn't have this with my first pregnancy, and not until 3rd trimester with my second and no morning sickness with either.
For anyone who got acid reflux pretty early, how did that play out? Did you end up with morning sickness-- if so, how bad was it? I can't imagine morning sickness now that I have two kids AND summer break is about to start! 😬😳😲

I had acid reflux all throughout my pregnancy. I did have morning sickness, but all in all, it wasn't too bad. The reflux was worse.
It was bad enough I was on prescription antacids.

I had acid reflux with all 3 of my pregnancies, the whole time. Minimal morning sickness. It started sooner and was worse with each pregnancy.

Congratulations! Every pregnancy is different, even for the same person. I'm currently 7w4d and I've had acid reflux and nausea since 4 weeks, vomiting since 4w5d. I've been loving ginger chews, frozen grapes, and Pedialyte freezies for my nausea and I sleep with a big triangular pillow for my reflux (otherwise I can't sleep). I find Tums barely make a dent. I also find, for me, acupuncture helps ease my symptoms enough that I can somewhat function, but I'm still sick and exhausted on the couch most mornings and evenings before and after work -- I'm just thankful I'm able to work. Of course, that's just my experience so far and your mileage may vary!

Every pregnancy is different. Acid reflux was my worst symptom for my entire pregnancy. It was so bad that it would send me into coughing fits that made me vomit. From about 6 weeks- delivery. I tried multiple OTC and prescription meds but nothing worked well. My morning sickness didn't seem to coincide with the reflux, but I did have vomiting throughout my entire pregnancy as well.
For the reflux, what controlled it best for me was being very strict with what I ate, keeping up on a strict med regimen, not eating for about 4 hours before bed and sleeping in an elevated position.
