I was on the implant before I had my daughter and honestly in my opinion its 50/50. Yes it completely stoped my periods for 2 and half years and I didnt have to worry about needing to take a pill everyday but it increased my weight gain, after those 2 and half years I started getting irregular periods again then got it taken out and it took a year for my periods to go back to normal. Everyone is different tho ive discovered I prefer the pill as its the easiest to stop and the body regulates very quickly after

I had 2 miscarriages and then my daughter on the pill and after I had her I took one pill and then was like I’m not doing this, I’m also ebf and didn’t want the hormones going to her and I feel so much more myself! I feel happier and less clouded now I’m natural. I was on the pill from 14 to 22… we are now using time of the month to prevent - but doing it properly with LH testing daily and the premom app (but using it a bit backwards as rather than timing for pregnancy timing against)
