Is it just me or is it really hard to keep the conversation going?

Like I'm really trying, but I'm running on my last leg

I genuinely came on here to make friends, but it's not easy. I don't know if I blame the other woman or not but it's really not easy.

It's not just you trust me..

This app is hard like I get so many "follow me on snap and tik tok" then I literally never hear from them again

It’s hard to keep the convo going when she lives far. I see posts all the time “looking for friends near or far!” I don’t do the far ones, if she’s interstate I don’t bother. I need local friends so I can actually invite out coz I get to know her much better when I meet as opposed to just chatting which will eventually always fade. If I meet her and we don’t speak for a couple weeks another meet and we just continue it off. Of course, I try to look for others similar to me who are a lil extroverted and have lil-no social anxiety willing to meet. I met Grace off here 3yrs ago and although we don’t chat daily (I chat to my sisters daily) I’ve seen her 1-2* a month for the last 3yrs. That works better for me.

I feel like itll take awhile. Its like dating🤣. U might match on paper and have common interests and hobbies and backgrounds…. But is there a spark and chemistry and flow? Its just not guaranteed 🤣

Do you include a wishlist on birthday invites?

I have a 5 year old who is having a birthday and she wants to invite her friends at school. So her and l set up a Amazon registry/wishlist and put a QR code on the invite for it. Today she got a invite to a party and the parents are like NO gifts please he only needs his friends. And now I'm like crap. Should l have put a wishlist. Like its there for if you want to not you have to bring something. When you send out classroom birthday party invites do you put a wishlist?

Intimacy issues

My husband and I didn’t have sex from the last time i got pregnant is been 2 years and very stressful time.Basically since then we didn’t have sex.Something is going on he hasn’t been cheating ,still loving husband ,cuddles ,kissing he still very nice with me but our intimacy has changed and im getting very worried .I got very insecure to speak or have a conversation with him about this.
I really need helpppp how to deal with this what to do?

I’ve never been more lonely in my whole life

I’m only 8 weeks with my first ever baby and between my boyfriend of 3 years seemingly not understanding me, my best friend travelling the other side of the world and feeling isolated from my family, I’ve never felt more lonely in my whole life. I have a long history with depression and I thought I would feel a lot more hopeful when I found out I was pregnant but it’s been the exact opposite. I’ve been desperately trying to make plans and give myself little things to look forward to but my depression is really getting the better of me right now. I’m struggling with just getting through the day. I know it’s the first trimester and pregnancy is supposed to be hard but how am I going to do this, especially without the ‘village’ everyone is always saying you need?
