I cannot get my LO back to sleep 💤
We put her to bed later than usual (half 8 rather than half 6/7), we make sure her last wake window is long and active for better sleep, she goes down really well, but she keeps waking at half 4 and then she's treating it as her first wake window.
Because she's going to bed at 8ish rather than her usual half 6 we're not getting our dinner until much later and not heading to bed until much later too so I'm exhausted 😠she was doing really well until this heat...is it just a heat thing? How do I help her get back to sleep??

Usually putting them to bed a lot later ends up in earlier wake ups in the morning not later one 🤣

She’s probably slightly overtired

Im going to assume its the heat thats causing a disturbance as my LG is the same, she usually gets up between 6 and 7 but had been waking up between 4 and 5 since the heat got bad. Ive resorted to getting up with her to let my partner sleep for work and laying downstairs with her where its cooler and she goes back to sleep, so thankful for my purchase of a memory foam rug in the living room these days 😄

I would move it back to the original time, been there myself and it caused earlier waking!
The heat is probably adding to it aswel though!

What time is her nap ? My boy is 15 months and naps once a day and I found pushing that nap later (it’s now 11:30-1ish) helped his morning wake ups become later

How old is she and what is her schedule? Could be too much daytime sleep

I give my daughter a dream feed when I go to bed and she goes back to sleep straight away. She goes to sleep around 8pm and was waking up around 3 for a bottle. So I just give her one around midnight. It’s helped me a lot! Xx

What time is her first nap and how long is it? I found the same with mine but over the past week I pushed that nap later, cut 30 mins of her daytime sleep and capped that first nap at 1hr. Also installed a blackout shade and she now sleeps through to 7am which is when we wake her.

We have the same issue, always used to sleep until 7/8 and now 5am fully awake but we blocked out all the daylight in the bedroom (when i mean all like its pitch black) and now he is back to 7am wake ups, so he was just waking up with the lighr
