37 weeks 3 days - baby measuring on the 90th percentile

Been to triage this evening as I was having reduced movements. Baby was monitored and movement was fine. Midwife informed me that baby is measuring on the 90th percentile.. should I be worried? At my midwife appointments when they measure bump it was always that he’s growing not big or small but on track. Just a bit confused now he’s measuring on the 90th percentile..

My baby has been growing on track too, but for my baby that has been around the 90th percentile. Shes5 grown along the same line my entire pregnancy so the team haven't been worried .. did you check your previous scans to see if this is a similar case or do you think he has jumped up?

I’m 35+5 and baby is also on 90th percentile. My midwife has never flagged that it’s a concern, as long as the growth is steady on the chart that’s what she’s been interested in 🙂

In my first pregnancy baby was always measuring between the 75th and 90th percentile and they said I was going to have a big baby. He came at 40+2 weighing 7lb13oz which was around 50th percentile so I wouldn't place too much on the percentile at the moment. The main thing is that yout baby is growing along the same lines and not taking big increases or decreases in the percentile x

Change in movements?

Has anyone noticed their babies movements feel weaker? As there is less space?? Don’t know if I’m over thinking it

Trying to bring c section forward due to PSTD and anxiety

Has anyone successfully done this? My first son was born via emergency c section and then he had to have multiple operations in his first year of life, plus he has chronic illnesses now so it’s all a bit much. I said I wasn’t having anymore children but had a drunken accident one night and here we are.

My section is booked for almost 40w exactly and I want to bring it forward. I’m constantly up MAU, paying for private scans and making myself throw up with anxiety. Nobody quite understands until you’ve had a traumatic birth, nearly 💀and then had a really ill baby.

I’ve requested to bring it forward to 39w exactly and the midwife thinks due to my mental health history it’s the best idea. I suppose it’s down to the theatre team now 😭

Start colostrum harvesting?

I’m 36+4 and at my midwife appointment I foolishly forgot to ask if I can start colostrum harvesting. I know I’m low risk so I shouldn’t have to worry about going into labour early. Also with my first child I started around this time and didn’t have any issues. Ideally I should clear it with them, but they’re closed on Monday so it’d be another 3 day wait. Do you think it’s safe for me to start today?

Would you move house 3 weeks post c section?

I’m having a c section on Thursday and my flat sale and onward purchase have dragged on and on to the point that if we don’t complete at 3 weeks post partum then our mortgage offer will expire and likely the chain will collapse.
Would you do it? It doesn’t sound fun at all. It would be a 2hr drive from where we live so we’d have to stop lots. We would use professional removers and packers so in theory I wouldn’t be doing anything myself, and could even check into a hotel with my mum to miss the whole thing.
I’m just scared from both an emotional and physical point of view that it’s a disaster waiting to happen.
Has anyone done it?!
