Moving from bassinet to stroller pram when less than 6 months?

Little one is nearly 4 months and we think she no longer likes being in the bassinet. Has anyone tried using the stroller yet even though they are still a bit little?

i believe you can but semi reclined x

My baby has been in stroller and fully reclined since 12ish weeks, she prefers it so much more as she can look around! She also sleeps with her arms stretched out which she couldn’t do in the bassinet so she actually naps better in there as well

I think from about 5 months I put my son in reclined, as he was soooo nosey! He still faced me though, put him facing away about 7/8 months

My son has been in one since 3.5 months as he outgrew the bassinet and is very tall. He prefers it. You just cant sit them upright x

My little boy has just gone into the sitting up buggy as he is too alert and nosey to lie down 😂 he is 3.5 months old x

Long road trip with baby and toddler.

Has anyone ever done a road trip with their partner and small kids? I’m stressing about everything. Like should I thaw out my breastmilk ahead of time and store it in my insulated water bottle I use just for bm? Should I use our car mini fridge? Just I just nurse her when we stop. I have to feed her only when we’re stopped anyway bc I’d never feed her in her car seat and risk her choking without being able to pat her back. But should I bother bringing the last bit of breastmilk my husband feeds her with? She’s EBF except during my husbands shift at night or if I’m sore from nursing all day I might give her a bottle. She rarely takes it from me anymore. Also how to keep my toddler entertained? I got him a busy board but I couldn’t find one without small pieces so I’d have to give it to him with all the pieces stored away. (It still has zippers and stuff. I know they’ll sleep long but it’s a 22-24 hour drive (We’re moving fromMD to Texas and basically taking 2-3 days instead of driving for a day straight )

Sleep troubles

Hello, my little girl is almost 19 months. For the past month we’ve really been struggling with her sleep and it’s just getting worse. She wakes up crying and no matter what we do the crying gets worse and worse. She won’t even be cuddled or rocked or patted back to sleep. She will struggle and scream. We’re up for hours at a time with her. I just don’t know what to do. Last night she was up from 11:30-1:30 then 3:30-5:30 then I’m up with our toddler at 6. Does anyone have any suggestions for how to help? Also she’s recently been weaned from breastfeeding in the past couple of weeks and she is getting her upper molars. I know these things will be part of it x

When did you stop using your baby monitor?

Hiya ladies,

Am pregnant with baby number 2 who is due in August 2026. My toddler will be 2 years 2 months when they're born.

By the time baby will need their own room with a monitor my toddler will be near-ish 3 years old.

Wondering when you stopped using the baby monitor to check on your toddler/child?

At this point I've accepted I'll need to buy another one but I'm curious when it seemed unnecessary for others!

Thanks :)

Tips for getting newborn to sleep in
Next to me Cot at night.

Baby boy will be 4 weeks old on Wednesday. I'm combination feeding but he will not sleep in the next to me cot at night. He will last for maximum 20 minutes before becoming unsettled and will only contact sleep on me 🫩. Did anyone else experience this and if so any tips to try and help him sleep in the bassinet? Thanks 🙏 🤩

Am I wrong for not offering my baby a dummy?

I always said I didn’t want my baby having a dummy because I knew kids in school that still had dummy’s and heard parents talking about how hard it is to get their children to give the dummy up. So in my head I thought well if she never has a dummy that won’t be a problem right? But my baby is now 3.5 months and I keep seeing things about dummy’s reducing the risk of sids but I still don’t want to offer her one through fear of her becoming reliant on it.
So am I a bad mum for not giving her a dummy?
