My baby is 5 months weighs 17 pounds 1oz
She only drinks 25 ounces in a day maybe more some days and sometimes less!!!
I know how to work it out etc she “should” be having atleast 30 ounces
But she just won’t drink more…… I offer 5 ounces 6 ounces she just won’t drink it much unless she wants to
In mornings she doesn’t even want to know a bottle….. she’s not hungry even after sleeping 12 hours
I’m just wondering if this is normal?
And should I be worried?

It is normal and babies just like us are hungrier some day and less other days. My baby has gained weight steadily and well, and is on the 65% and she only drink 22-27 oz depending on how she is feeling and doing- plus you’ll notice the more your baby starts to move and use up energy, the more milk they may ask. Just go with the baby’s cues!

I got told off my HV that they only take what they want. My little girl just gone 7 months she weight 18lbs 4oz and she's only takes 4oz bottles always has done. She has been on solids for 3 months but only takes a few spoonfuls of each meal (2meals a day). Don't worry all babies are different and I think the more you read on things on what they should take the more you worry.

I would recommend talking to the doctor first when it comes to the baby’s appetite, every baby is different but if something feels off , better safe than sorry.
