Calpol after jabs

My daughter has just had her jabs and I’ve been advised to give her calpol every 4 hours. Just tried to give her the first dose and she spat most of it out. Any tips 🥺

My daughter was the same I put the Calpol in the bottle teat worked better than the syringe

The bottle teat method is good but if that doesnt work. Does your daughter use a dummy. If so, put the dummy in and squirt small amounts of Calpol down the side of the dummy into the mouth. They are already sucking on the dummy so it encourages to swallow. X

I put it in her bottle too, just make sure it's a small amount of milk so you know she's had the full dose of calpol :)

I find my daughter takes it off a spoon in little bits much better

I use the syringe, just squeeze a quarter at a time into the cheeks rather than tongue.

Upset

I am so upset that people reported my post asking where people posted their amazon wishlist after partners work hours have been cut and now it's been removed. I was asking as a mum to a 3 year old and 30 weeks pregnant. My wishlist was literally basic items my daughter needed and a few little bits to occupy her plus items for my baby's arrival.

Baby feeding herself

My 8 and a half month old refuses to feed herself in her cot. She will feed herself while I change her nappy or on the sofa but refuses to finish the bottle until I feed her in her cot to go to sleep or nap. The cot is really awkward and it’s killing my back! Anyone have any tips please??🙏

How would you approach this? Trying to be discrete as she stalks my socials.

A former friend of mine recently contacted me to let me know that her cat died. She was very upset and was looking for reassurance, however I was still very angry with her regarding an incident earlier that day.

The reason why we aren't friends is because she has broken my trust in many ways. We are colleagues and she has been talking to people behind my back about mine and my son's health to other colleagues and mutual friends. Yes we aren't a picture of health but my son is happy and I'm fit to work. The things she says simply aren't true and I'm sick of her lies. The incident in question occurred when she was questioning my ability to care for my son infront of colleagues.

I distanced myself from her for this reason until she rang me out of the blue. She has lied before about her cat going missing for over a week when we didn't speak for over a month due to a seperate incident which included more of her lies. and a part of me isn't trusting that her cat has very sadly crossed the rainbow bridge. Her story didn't make sense.

Do I trust her and send my sympathies or is this another way for her to worm her way back in?

I’m concerned my little man’s constipated… any advice welcome!

My little guy is 7 weeks old and is now only formula fed, due to such a rocky start. I don’t see a poo regularly and I can see he is desperately trying. It’s averaging every 3 days! I’ve been to the drs but they don’t seem concerned because they measure by consistency and not length of time. But it’s awful seeing him strain with no result. Anyone else having this?

Calpol

So my son had his first jabs yesterday evening and he’s had his 3 doses of calpol
Do you have to give them more or only if he has a temperature?
