For those of you who have declined a membrane sweep, did you have to be induced after your due date? Ive seen declining a membrane sweep can increase the chances of having to be induced.

A membrane sweep IS an induction so doing one is inducing labor. Unless you have a medical reason for induction or go to 42weeks, declining a membrane sweep doesn’t increase the chances of having to be induced. A membrane sweep actually increases those chances

I had two membrane sweeps with my second to try and induce, neither worked so had to be medically induced anyway. It can work for some but not all the time.

Family names

My mums first name is the same as my MIL middle name. We plan to use this and my hubbys fav name as middle names. Is this ok or disrespectful to MIL?
