My kids don’t snack much but we usually keep plenty of fruit and cheese for snacks. I also have grass fed beef sticks and protein bars just in case but I give them sparingly because of the cost. Right now my kids are all about the fruit since strawberries are in season.

I get food from the store so anytime I get anything it's mostly healthy and we're cutting him down on sugar and brushing his teeth after breakfast, lunch and dinner

I get oat bars from the store, those mini packs of raisins, sometimes I give her nuts, berries, and sometimes if I have none of these I’d give her some dry bread lol

I do a little of both sometimes it’s goldfish and cheese sticks I just grabbed to be easy and sometimes it’s sourdough mini muffins or homemade pop tarts

Sometimes store, but mainly a bowl of berries, or apple/banana, cheese and crackers, cucumber sticks, on sunny days we were doing ice poles or frozen yoghurt etc. On some days it could be anything I can find in the fridge as we do 1 shop a week and the occasional top up shop.

I do a mix of both ☺️

My go to when im exhausted is always a fruit bowl. I try to make sure we always have a variety so I can have at least a couple of different fruit options and i cut them up to make them easy bite sizes

I got it easy because my LO snacka on raw pepper, cucumber, celery, carrots or anything like that so I just cut it and done. Sometimes tho I make her cookies (1 orange, 1 banana and 125gr of oats, blend and to the oven for 14 min) super easy and quick too.

My son, whenever we go to the grocery store will always pick out a fruit that he wants a snack on for the week. Well, I say the week that they don’t have last week about two days max lol.

Usually something like an energy ball, I’ll make. My kids snack on pretzels and hummus. That’s the store bought snack I have for them

Other than fruit and veg for snacks

Husband saw my vibrator

I messed up and am so embarrassed!!

I know most of you won’t relate to this, but my husband and I have been on an extended dry spell which I won’t go into but basically it’s on me. But I still masturbate occasionally because a mom’s gotta let out stress somehow.

Well I’ve been very good throughout this whole time of not letting it be known that I still masturbate, because my excuse for not having sex has always been that I’m just not in the mood and don’t want to be touched. But last night I messed up and left my vibrator out on the nightstand and I know my husband had to have seen it when he got home because he made our bed.

He didn’t say anything and neither did I but I felt mortified, and worried it hurt him to see that. 😭

Am I being sensitive?

My partner and I have been trying for 2 1/2 years to conceive our third. For over a year, my partner has been taking hCG shots because he was on TRT. At the start of this year, we got an analysis and turns out everything looked good on his end. Never thought it would be a me issue, but I started to work with a fertility specialist and everything checked out until our HSN they found polyps and I need surgery. It’s going to cost $1700 which he will pay. However, the surgery is an hour away and although he works from home, he says he has to work and said I should Uber or have a family member take me. All my support lives an hour in the opposite direction. So it would be an hour to me, hour to the surgery and then back to me and back home. Would you be upset? I just wanna know if I’m too sensitive. He is paying the surgery should last no longer than 45 minutes, but I am being put out and nervous. Just looking for feedback.

Toddler in his emptying everything phase😩

My little boy will be 2 in September and for the last few weeks he’s had a sudden impulse to empty everything containing liquid🙃 cans, bottles, cups, the cats water bowl…and it’s driving me insane! Every day multiple times a day I’m having to clean the sofa or wipe the floor, almost broke my neck in the kitchen this morning!!

My question is, when does this phase end? I’m over it😑😑😑

Nursery fees

Interested to know if anyone has got a nursery sorted and how much they’re paying for how many days… I’m in shock that it’ll cost us nearly £400 a month for 3x days WITH funded hours. Wtf!!!

How do you deal with your child reaching out for candy, junk food or soda?

I have a mom friend who does not allow her child to eat any sugar, burger or fries. I respect that decision but she subtly judged me when my kid was given fries and pop from a kids menu. This happened last year. Fast forward to today her kid started preschool and he goes bonkers over muffins and other sweet treats. Even at home he demands that she make fried or sugary foods. While mine now is not a big fan of icecreams or fries. What Im trying to say is that if we depict something to be a NO NO with children, it creates some sort of a reverse psychology and they go YES YES. I give my kid an option to choose but ALSO educate on why junk and sugary foods are bad. Her teacher tells me she was drinking cola and my kid told her ‘soda bad for health’
Kids are very intelligent than what we give them credit for.
