I feel so overwhelmed trying to feed my baby. The pediatrician originally said food was for fun until one and at the 9 month appointment talked about decreasing milk and increasing food. I've been giving my baby a lot of purees still but need to increase the food. What do I feed her for meals? How much is enough? The pediatrician wasn't much help. I also hate cooking and my husband and I do a lot of takeout but I have to start cooking for the baby. I feel so overwhelmed and don't know where to begin. I don't want to pay for the Solid Starts app but might end up doing that because of how overwhelmed I am. Any suggestions are much appreciated!

Honestly, i get it. It made me very overwhelmed with our first but I think your easiest route is baby lead where you can cook not just for the baby but for you guys too. Trying to decide and come up with different meals for Everyone is going to be a lot really fast and budget wise it can add up. Not sure why at 9months it’s telling you to increase food because it’s milk/formula until a year. Unless there is some sort of allergy or special situation I would get a second opinion about decreasing milk right now. And maybe try to focus on one item on each meal the baby can eat? Also, the solid foods app have a LOT that’s free and can access. You just can’t like record what they already tried and such
