Would only getting a child a couple gifts from us be enough for a birthday?
Would love to get more but unfortunately I can’t afford much and I have family who will be getting him some bigger gifts anyway.
But the pressure from seeing other families get their kids a huge pile makes me feel guilty. Money is already tight and I wished I could get all the ideas I have.

Depends on the age but when they were younger I’d bulk up with second hand gifts.
These are first world problems cuz a couple of presents is jus fine. Also please don’t feel pressured or compare urself to other ppl. Social pressure is real so dont let what u see others doing make u feel like what ur doing isn’t enough. Ur a great mom and ur baby is going to a have a wonderful birthday. 🫶🏾
Most younger children are happy with just the wrapping paper and boxes! If they’re older, then as long as you’ve gotten them something you know they want which is affordable for you then please don’t worry! It’s hard times for the vast majority nowadays so please don’t feel like you’re not doing enough x
Don’t feel guilty.
Half those piles on social media end up unplayed with, clutter around the house or dumped at charity shops.
