So me and by bf were trying for baby #2. My last menstrual period started April 19th, I got a positive pregnancy test on May 13/14. But when I went in for a self pay transvaginal ultrasound on June 4th, my gestational sac was only measuring 4w 6d. Has this happened to anyone before?

It’s possibly you may of ovulated later in your cycle

It can depend on your ovulation as we sometimes can ovulate earlier or later than we expect. I would probably either wait for the 12 week scan or have another scan a couple of weeks later just to compare the two and confirm that everything is progressing as expected from that scan

Do you have regular periods? If irregular then it's likely you ovulated later.
This happened to me. Sacs measured at 3 weeks when I was 6 weeks pregnant. No fetal pole. My periods are like clockwork so definitely didn't get my dates wrong. I eventually miscarried at 7 weeks pregnant.

Was there a fetal pole? It could still be too early for a heartbeat. I would definitely recommend getting two beta draws. Good luck.

WIBTA for calling my son Henry?

I am due in Dec and if my blood test was right, we're having a boy (we find out 'offically' at 15 weeks due to private gender scan') I have loved the name Henry for a long time but I am wondering if that name is not appropriate for the time with the recent murder of Henry Novak and the uprising here in the UK. This is a very sensitive subject so I hope I haven't been disrespectful.

Pregnancy with a toddler struggles

Hey guys, I wanted some tips. I am 2 months pregnant with my second child with an extremely active toddler to run after. I am struggling with nausea and fatigue. Not vomitting but constantly nauseous. Any tips? First pregnancy I was bed rotting but this one I have to just get on. I tried ginger tea but not helping

To announce to not announce on social media??!

So I’ve had two miscarriages prior to this pregnancy… I didn’t announce my first pregnancy because I lost it right away I only caught the pregnancy because I felt off but had I not taken test I would not have even known, second pregnancy I announced at 8 weeks and lost it at 9 weeks almost 10, now with this pregnancy it’s the furthest I’ve been I’m now 3 months and a half (14w1d) and I have done my NIPT test all is well thank God! I really wanna announce my pregnancy with my baby girl, but I’m scared and traumatized because of my previous miscarriages. I want to share this joy but some part of me has fear about it… any advice???!

Wound opening

Has anyone experienced their wound opening on one side?

I had my stitches removed yesterday afternoon and noticed last night my wound had come open and was leaking. I went into hospital and they haven’t stitched it back up, only gave me antibiotics incase it becomes infected.

Is this normal practice? It weirds me out that it’s open! 😬
