Anyone who had a 5+ years in between pregnancies, was the subsequent pregnancy/labour/birth easier or worse?

I have a 4 year old and have been wanting another for awhile now, we are in a good position again financially etc to do this, little one starts school in September etc. I’m 35 now, so was wondering what other mother’s experiences are of having another baby after a large gap?

I have 15 year gap ! Labour went a lot quicker and was more intense with the 2nd - possibly due to the fact I was induced.

With my first my waters went at 23:45 and i gave birth at 9:13AM next day.
With my second I was induced, process started at 12 noon - contractions started around 3:30/4PM, waters went at 20:30 gave birth at 21:35 same evening.

Larger gap than you, but my teen adores his little brother it's very heartwarming to watch their relationship grow.

Mine was an almost 10 year gap. 1st was a C/S for failure to progress. 2nd went naturally, less than 12hrs of labor from onset of contractions.

Your first ultrasound experience?

Any ladies felt any discomfort or pain? from the pressure? ive always felt sensitive if anyone touches my belly lol. the woman was rougher and the man was way better!

maybe my belly fat doesn’t help either. if i had done it myself it would have been less pain because it’s anticipated movements from my hands lol

Sex 5 weeks after c section?

Has anybody experienced having sex 5 weeks post c section? I’m not sure what the guidance is and I’m scared of it hurting/ causing any damage but do feel mentally ready.

Any advice please?

Baby number three💕

So I am seven weeks pregnant and typically I am toilet bound for six months of pregnancy because I can’t stop throwing up surprisingly though this pregnancy, I haven’t felt the slightest bit of nausea whatsoever. My first two were girls could this one possibly be a boy?😍

6 weeks not 9? 🤷

So today I had a scan because I have been spotting since Friday. Because the NHS measure your weeks from the first day of your last period, I was told I was 9 weeks. But today on the scan, they saw no obvious reason for bleeding, a sack and a tiny embryo that was 6 weeks not 9.

I have PCOS so my implantation and ovulation could have been delayed from what I thought, but also because I was tracking everything, I believe conception was on the 27/28th April which would actually put me at the 6 weeks that is showing on the scan.

I’m hoping this is the case as otherwise it would be a delayed miscarriage. Although with all the spotting, it’s possible that’s still happening…has anyone else had similar examples of weird or wrong dating, or spotting at 6 weeks that would be light, slightly heavier, ramping up in the middle of the day and then getting lighter again over night…???

Thanks for listening 😬❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹

32 weeks

I’m 32 weeks and so so exhausted is this normal? I feel like I can’t do anything resting makes me feel guilty! I’ve also seen stars in the corner of my eyes once today and twice yesterday only for a split second is that cause for concern?
