Insane pain today after cervical check

Normally I’d neverrr have a cervical check this early (33 weeks) but doctor wanted to ensure I wasn’t dilating yet since I’ve been having a lot of really consistent contractions the past week and I’m only 33 weeks. Luckily, all was good! Only about a .5-1cm so doctor said all safe! And the check did not hurt at all, everything was totally fine!

But now all evening I’ve been in INTENSE pain all under my belly and lower back, like just this constant pain allllll around. It hurts so bad to walk or move I’m like wincing in pain constantly.

I remember cramping after a check with my other two babies but never this intensity. Anyone else had this happen?

Yeah I’m 36 weeks and got one the other day because i thought my amniotic fluid was leaking but it was just my mucus plug I was dilated at 1cm but I felt the Same as you I’m getting another one tomorrow and hope it doesn’t hurt the same as it did the first time

I was experiencing the same thing at 33-34 weeks and got checked. I was actually having contractions every 8 minutes for 3 hours and back pain too so I was pretty concerned but like you, all was fine. The pain wore off after a couple days for me. I just had another cervical check today at 36weeks and I’ve had increased pain as well. Never had this with my first. I would just pay attention to the contractions getting more consistent to when you would typically go to the hospital but besides that I think our bodies are just getting prepped for labor. A lot is changing and I’ve heard things are just more intense with subsequent kiddos.

Scheduled c-section

Evening everyone! I’m really considering a scheduled section
I don’t want any criticism, how ‘labour is natural’ etc.
I had an emergency c section in July 2021. My waters broke at 12am and 19 hours later they delivered my son, I know labour is hard, especially your first, but what I endured in them 19 hours was SO scary, I was having panic attacks in the birthing pool from the pain, NOTHING worked (codeine, g&a, pethidine) it was so scary, me and my baby got so poorly because it was left too long. It was genuinely such a traumatic birth, once I got that needle in my back ready for my section, it was the best thing ever
I know recovery is difficult, but I’d like to go in, have my baby and go home, as I have a second one at home, not being exhausted from labour
What is everyone’s experience? Especially for mums who have kids at home? Not gonna lie the only thing putting me off is the social pressure 🤣 thanks :)

Is it normal for pre-school applications to require your marriage license (only if you weren't married at the time your child was born or if you have different last names)?

This is my first time enrolling my child and it felt like a weird requirement but maybe that's normal? They will already be receiving their birth certificate that has both parents' signatures. A marriage license isn't requirement for parents who were married before birth or for parents with the same last name, that's the part that makes me feel odd about it.
