Feel different towards my husband in pregnancy…

I just feel disconnected from him. This is my second pregnancy. He just seems so immature when I am in a vulnerable time. he’s used to me cooking, cleaning, taking care of our son. Now I’ve been slacking on the cooking and cleaning, due to
Being nauseous and not wanting to eat real meals.
He wants praise for cooking 2 meals recently. I’ve been cooking for the 10 years we’ve been married… he says “thank you” every once in a while. A part of me feels he’s baggage holding me back. I’ve lifted him up to succeed for so long, he can’t help me for a few months in a significant way? Maybe I’m meant to be a single mom.

Do you consider SAHM a job?

Got into an argument with my partner because I’ve been having a rough week. I was venting about my hard day and being frustrated that I never get a break. My partner has been working out of town for the past two months and it’s been extremely hard being alone for so long. He comes back on the weekends but the weekends go by so fast. I was ok at first but the loneliness is getting to me. I was just venting my frustration when he told me I should be blessed about staying home which I very much am but anyway. He said I need to change my mentality and be more positive. Just made me feel like shit like I’m not allowed to have bad days and I’m not allowed to vent just because I’m blessed to have this wonderful life. Makes me feel bad for struggling like I’m weak and incapable of staying home. Anyway he was saying being a stay at home mom is not a job but a lifestyle and I should be grateful and not complain. But I think a stay at home mom is a job just in a different way. Do you consider a stay at home mom a job?

Overwhelmed and exhausted

I feel like crying. I just went back to work a few days ago. I was off today and my husband came hone from work and said he needed me to do laundry. I was hoping when he got home I could stretch while he looked after the baby. Instead,he took a shower, ran to the grocery store, Came back and stretched. I have been bf and pumping every few hours all day. I have a stock pile of milk in the freezer but I'm trying not to use it if I'm home. I have 2 bottles in the fridge but she seems to be eating more now so they aren't enough.i don't want to do formula but my boobs are killing me and I just want to take a shower. He brought home fruit earlier and he said he wants to take some to work tomorrow. So here I am trying to get her to sleep then I have to wash the dishes I need for the morning because I make him breakfast and I have to cut up the fruit for him. He went to bed. Ill be up at least twice to feed the baby. I'm exhausted and frustrated. 🥺

Would you be upset?

I’m due at the end of this month, despite remembering that it’s my due date, my Dad has gone ahead and booked a holiday for the week before my due date and now also the week after my due date.

This is my second baby, last time I had an emergency c-section and had a major haemorrhage. He isn’t my birth partner, but last time visited 6 hours post surgery to meet my son.

I feel so upset that it just tells me he doesn’t care and his words are empty. I cannot for a second get my brain around not being there for my children during such a significant time, especially if there was scary medical stuff associated

Husband back to work

My husband goes back to work tomorrow and I'm terrified. He's been amazing this past two weeks, he's looked after the house work, cooking and nappies while I've been focusing on breastfeeding and recovering from my emergency c section but tomorrow I will be completely alone with baby for the first time while dealing with baby blues. (I've made MW and GP aware and they're referring me to get some help with this). Ho did you guys deal with your first times solo parenting while partners went back to work?
