It’s not you, it’s them. I am so interactive, I show interest, I never send one word replies or give short answers.. yet most conversations just die lol. People are so boring.

I usually let them be. I’ve had some really great conversations on here too that I thought might turn into friendships, and then they just kind of fizzled out. I’ll reach out a couple of times, but I don’t think friendships should be one-sided. If the effort isn’t being matched, I take it as a sign that maybe the timing or connection just isn’t there, and I focus on the people who are equally interested in building a friendship.
