Move into own room

What age did you move baby into their own room? Did you wait till they started getting unsettled in their next to me or move them as soon as they turned 9 months?

Mine has had his own room for a few months as he couldnt sleep with us anymore. Like physically couldnt sleep. Every time one of us made a noise, he would wake and sometimes he would then take an hour to resettle. He sleeps amazing in his own room. Hes 11 montha now

We moved her as soon as she turned 6 months. My partner starts work at 5 am so he’s waking about at about 3:30-4am and it was just making her restless and she’d wake up every time and then take an hour or so to get back down even though she isn’t ready to start the day… my partner also snores quite loudly 😅 which would wake her up constantly.

Car seat help!! 🙏🙏

We had this car seat fitted yesterday by Halfords but the seat belt is in the way of putting my baby in. The guy who fitted it said it has to be like this so it’s diagonal in the back but I can’t put my baby in from the outside I have to go inside the car and buckle her in.
There must be another way 😩 or some trick to fix the seat belt down easily, put baby in, then put it back out? I need to sort this out asap because she already hates the car seat and she’s especially annoyed at it after daycare so I can’t make it worse 🥲

Breast Feeding

When I was younger, my mom used to explain to me that she didn’t breast-feed because her breasts were really big in this new generation. Is that a thing?
I currently wear a 36 triple D or 36E and I just wanna make sure when I do start breast-feeding that I won’t smother my baby with my breast

Velcro baby temperament

Baby is 2 months old tomorrow and I know she’s still so young and brand new to the world. She’s super sensitive due to her tummy issues so she’s always been a high needs, contact napping, constant holding/rocking/soothing, and co-sleeping baby. I’m a FTM and can’t handle letting her CIO. I love her so much but my back, shoulders, and neck are messed up from always holding her and having to rock her. Did anyone else w a baby w a temperament similar to my daughter’s grow out of it? Or did they grow up to be very sensitive toddlers as well?

Also, anyone have any experience w the Moonboon?

Insomnia in the First Trimester

Hey, I think I have just hit week 7 and I have been really struggling with insomnia over the past 2 weeks. I seem to struggle to go off to sleep and stay asleep for longer than 30 minutes - 1 hour. Some nights I literally get no sleep at all. I just feel so tired, but completely wired. How is everyone else faring?

Do your babies actually sleep in their bassinet??

FTM to a 3 week old girl and she does NOT sleep in her bassinet 😭as soon as I set her down in it she stays sleep for like 20 seconds and then starts crying to be held. Does anyone have any hacks or advice that I can use to get her to sleep in her bassinet?
