My baby is almost 3 months and I haven’t attended any baby groups yet. I know some people like them and find them beneficial but I feel like I can do a lot of the sensory stuff at home to save money and he is happy and content at home with family and going out with friends.

I attempted 3 different baby groups with my eldest. We ended up going to the first session and never again. I just didn’t like them and it’s okay if you don’t want to. I found that I was able to do a lot of what they were doing at home too so that’s what I did. It’s not hindered him in any way. He’s the most sociable and confident 3 year old I know. My little girl is 8 weeks tomorrow and we haven’t been to any. You do what’s best for you and ignore the opinions of everyone else

I didn't like them until my first was more like 6-9 months + we went to a messy play group instead which is much more me than the sitting in a circle and singing to a potentially asleep baby so I haven't done any with my second yet and I won't if I can't find the right group for me to feel comfortable and that's okay! Do what makes you feel comfortable 🥰

At 10 weeks old, I'm not sure my girl will enjoy them just yet, might wait till 12 weeks post vaccines then start going

You don't have to go to baby groups. I went to quite a few with my first and alot of it is trial and error to see which ones suit you. And people go to baby groups for different reasons as well. I personally am going to wait until this one is a little older because he'll get more out of it. Atm his sister does a good job of entertaining him with books, sensory crinkly toys and nursery rhymes 😄I really liked the baby signing classes so we will probably be doing that one when he's a bit older

We did baby swimming lessons with my eldest from 4 months and at 2.5 it’s paid dividends massively. I’ll do the same with my April baby.
I never bothered with baby sensory/ massage etc the first time round and probably won’t this time round either. It seems stressful trying to fit around every changing naps to me! x
