Freaking out

So ive already had a GP appointment for today and have been referred to breast clinic but wanted to know if any mums here have had anything similar.

Found a lump in my left breast feels quite big pretty sure it wasn't there the other day I'm nearly 11 weeks PP and formula fed atraight away as baby couldn't latch to me. Ive only just got my first period since being pregnant the last few days so guessjng hormones are all over the place still. I get quite bad health anxiety and can go down rabbit holes on Google. Did anyone else experience something similar? GP said it felt like a cyst but referral is an urgent 2 week pathway referral

How long did you try to BF before switching to formula? It could totally be that your milk was coming in when you stopped and now you're having weaning symptoms essentially. If you gently massage the lump towards the nipple for 5-10mins does any milk come out or does the lump get smaller? If so, it's probably a block duct which could resolve on its own if you continue gently massaging when it appears again.

Although I thinks seeing the GP and getting a referral was a good move. They would know more about you and your case.

I had something similar but not to do with pregnancy/PP where one breast was super painful and could feel a lump, went to get it checked out and there was nothing seen on any scans, noticed it happened around the time of my periods and turns out it's quite common due to fluctuating hormones right before periods start.
Always better to get it checked though 😊

Would you rather…

Have a 1.2 year old sleep 12 hour stretches every night BUT they wake up halfway through for milk

Or

Have them sleep the first half but cry and have restless sleep the second half waking every hour til morning

Cause I’m told they don’t need nighttime feeds. But he sure wants it haha and possibly needs it? He just sleeps so good when I do give him milk. But it is both sides nursing and I’m supposed to be weaning 🫠

Help EBF

Has anyone else had the same issue ?
My nearly 4 week old pretty much chokes/coughs and splutters when on the boob and because of that she’s taking in loads of air which makes her gassy and uncomfortable no matter how long I burp her for, I have a fast flow so I’ve tried pumping before but because I’m only 4 weeks I’m scared of causing myself a over supply as I already wake up super engorged and leaking EVERYWHERE , she’s also been throwing up a lot like after every feed then she wants to go on again and won’t settle because she’s thrown up

Explosive diarrhea and vomiting

My 3 month old girl has had watery explosive yellow diarrhea for 24 hours now and vomiting up a lot of her feeds. She is still normal and smiling and awake but worried about diarrhea since she’s so young. Has anyone experienced this and what did you do? It’s heatwave too so could be making it worse.

Montessori bed or cot?

Hi,
I am moving in a few months and need to plan my babies room. He would be 7 and a half months and I wonder if we should get him a cot or a Montessori floor bed? I like the idea of him crawling in and out as he pleases but not sure if you girls have had any experience with them?
Thank you
