Really intense back pain

Hey guys 37 weeks here and I have a sudden onset of back pain. It's is really bad whether I am sitting standing. Feels a bit like my back is a bit broken or disjointed.

Anyone else have this. I am worried might be an early sign of labour because is heard this but no other sudden onset of symptoms or signs of labour.

Im currently 39 weeks with herniated disc in my lower back and severe nerve damage- it’s hell! If it’s sudden then it’s likely due to hormones… however if it gets worse to a point you cannot get any relief speak to doctor

Always worth getting checked out if you need to! Have you taken anything to try ease the pain? Bath? I will also say though I only had back labour with both my previous pregnancies nothing in the front all in the back x

Is it lower or upper? My upper pain has been indigestion but has been awful and my lower has been braxton hicks x

Baby 3 at 45?

I have just found out I’m pregnant. Not planned. Baby number one was a miracle at 40 and we were one and done. Then my dad died and the thought of going through it as an only child broke me so we tried and had a 2nd little boy at 43. We are blessed with our family and I’m more than happy with my lot. I have found out I am pregnant again at 45 and selfishly don’t want my life to change, not spoken to anyone yet but have completed my self referral to the midwife. Is 45 too old?

Booking appointment

Midwife has left me a voicemail which I can’t make out what she is saying. They updated my Badger App but the appointment doesn’t show where the appointment is or anything. She said she would ring back later ( this was 2 days ago)

Fan

Are we able to oscillate a fan across a 2 year old? Just so the fan will be on her for 5-10 secs then move across the room? Or should it be completely out of her range?

Anyone else feeling overwhelmed with postpartum care

I had a C section previously and aiming for a VBAC. I got to 8cm so have been advised that all being well it should go smoothly. However, i am overwhelmed with the amount of postpartum care information, particularly found on tiktok..
I have brought always big pants with the pad as this seems would be used in either C section or vaginal however, there seems to be a million other products and i don't want to fork out loads of money to end up not using it. I personally don't want to use frida mom as I think its overpriced and over hyped but seriously.. what do I need and is there any recommendations people can offer that arent ridiculously priced or have 10 million steps before you even pull your pants up! And also, do i need all this stuff? What did people use before consumerism lol ???

Birth Plan

I’ve got gestational diabetes, baby has consistently been measuring in the 94-99 percentile and now they’ve found that I’ve also got elevated levels of placental fluid.

Has anyone been in a similar position? How did you go about your birth plan? Should I try to give birth naturally and wait as long as possible for baby to come? Elect for induction? Or, c-section?

I worry about the epidural, hormone drip if I got induced and assisted delivery. All things I’d like to avoid.

How did you decide and what was guiding your decision making process? Has anyone been in a similar position?
