Ultrasound after a c-section

I had my first child nearly 4 years ago, I’m now pregnant with my second and have my ultrasound soon. Has anyone’s c-section scar effected their ultrasound imagine or will I still get a clear picture?

It should be pretty clear. I’m not sure how it’s affected if your placenta is on the scar but for the most part it doesn’t affect anything

Firstly congratulations 🫶🏼 It should all be fine…as I had two previous c-sections before my third and they manage to get a clear picture ☺️

My 3rd pregnancy she did say I had a lot of scar tissue and it made it harder for her to carry out the checks but I wouldn’t have known by the images on screen x

Congratulations. I had 3 pregnancies back to back (December 22, june 24 and november 25) all were c sections and they were able to see baby just fine each time

If you had the baby years ago, you won't see anything unless you have endometriosis or pcos.

Well everyone my baby boy is here at 27+1 weighing 2lb 7oz. Waters broke last week and I developed sepsis so they got him out very quickly.

Labour ?

I’m 39 weeks, and all day I have been in severe pain mainly when I stand up, and constant lighting crotch, tmi diarrhoea and been losing excessive mucus plug over the last 2 days.

The other day I had mild contractions for nearly an hour 9mins break in between 40 second contractions.

I’m not getting intervals it’s constant and waters haven’t broke. Am I in labour or does anyone else know what could be happening ?

I had a sweep on Monday, and get induced this Saturday.

Elective C Sections

Anyone else due in August planning an elective csection? I just had an appointment with the csection specialist to make sure I was making an informed decison. While she said I won't get a date booked in until around week 36/37, she said its likely it will be the 18th, 19th or 20th August. I'm due the 21st! That shocked me a bit as I assumed it wouls be the week before (10th to 14th). Worries about going into labour naturally before then 😬 Anyone else in similar boat? Or do your hospitals do them earlier? She said they follow the WHO guidance and won't take babies out before rhe 39th week.

Anyones child been referred to hospital specialist over clicky hips?

My little girl is 4 weeks old, when she was being checked over at birth, the nurse said she had quite clicky hips and that it should be checked to be on the safe side. I've received the referral letter but I was wondering if anyone else has been through it?

Just wondering what to expect x

20 week scan advise

I had my 20 week scan today and my little boy is measuring smaller in the 25th percentile, they said his legs are shorter then normal only by a small bit. Everything else was perfectly fine has anyone else experienced this?

Mucus plugy discharge!

Hi guys has anyone been having some mucus plug discharge from 30/31 week it’s only little bits but Iv been noticing it more and more over the past 2 days. X
