2nd time

Any advice or tips for the second time around? I was really hoping I could have a VBAC but my dr said no and I’m honestly terrified to get sliced open again.

Labour ?

I’m 39 weeks, and all day I have been in severe pain mainly when I stand up, and constant lighting crotch, tmi diarrhoea and been losing excessive mucus plug over the last 2 days.

The other day I had mild contractions for nearly an hour 9mins break in between 40 second contractions.

I’m not getting intervals it’s constant and waters haven’t broke. Am I in labour or does anyone else know what could be happening ?

I had a sweep on Monday, and get induced this Saturday.

Is it lying?

I need opinions because of an argument with my husband because I don’t know who is correct.

A girl family member of yours had a birthday party, and you told them you would attend, then you forget after running errands (getting gas while driving home and picking up store pick up groceries at the store). You see IG pictures of them celebrating and feel bad, so you message them an apology for not making it, telling them that you were running errands and got home late, but that you would meet up to celebrate them another time. Is it lying to said family member because the technical real reason is that you forgot?

And also, are the listed items considered errands?

20 week scan advise

I had my 20 week scan today and my little boy is measuring smaller in the 25th percentile, they said his legs are shorter then normal only by a small bit. Everything else was perfectly fine has anyone else experienced this?

38+2 week growth scan

So I went to my normal routine 38 week midwife appointment today and said my bump was still measuring the same as 36 weeks. They are sending me for a growth scan this afternoon. They did however say that he was 2/5 engaged. Has anyone had this and is it something to worry about or can i not be measuring the same as he has dropped abit???

Should I be cross?

I went in for RFM on Monday and the registrar requested an urgent scan (my last one was 2 weeks previous) but she wanted it repeated as it was my second episode. This referral was rejected.

I had an appointment with the consultant to discuss delivery yesterday and she also requested an urgent scan as she said the first referral should have been done. I got a call this morning to say it wouldn’t meet threshold for being accepted and she said there was no point in putting the referral in. I argued that even if it was guaranteed to be rejected, I wanted it submitted so it was on my record. Within 10 minutes of this, I got a call from ultrasound with an appointment tomorrow. I am furious at their attitude but not sure if I’m just hormonal and hot!

Visitors after birth

So, my husband’s sister and dad want to drive over 6 hours from a tourist hotspot to come and see the baby at the hospital the day after they’re born… I think this is crazy and don’t really want them coming that close to birth, husband says it’s normal?

Are you having visitors immediately? I don’t want to be rude but I think this is overstepping majorly?
